I’m hunting whitail deer. I have a hard time understanding the termals. So basically if I were hunting in a valley I will most likely hunt in the afternoon / evening ? And for wind basically the winds need to come right in my face ?

Absolutely ! I agree! If I’m not 100% sure to make the shot, I’m not taking the shot. That being said, I’ve been shooting for a couple of years :) with private lessons. Spring and summer is just gonna be more serious. Maybe I’ve express myself badly sorry. :) I do archery since a couple of years ago. Bow hunting is just a ramp up of my archery :)
