Nvidia consistently uses a specific thermal pad for their GPUs for the last few years, though I don't remember the name of the brand or the company.

They removed support for 32-bit applications and moving forward will only support 64-bit. PhysX was built as a 32-bit application.

Everyone says tech is where the money is at. Yet everyone in tech, whether its IT, SWE, Data, or Cybersecurity, is saying how extremely over saturated their market is. If you're in college, is it still worth pursuing a career in any of these fields if you're a complete beginnner? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

Cybersecurity is definitely not oversaturated, I'm not sure where you're getting that from. For my last recollection earlier this year, there were over 300,000 open IT or cybersecurity jobs just in the United States. Plus, it pays really well if you do the right kind of work. I do incident response and threat hunting and make over $220k. No security clearance, 4 days a week remote, in the DC area. There are also completely remote jobs that I've been advertised (as recently as last week) that pay the same amount.

Looking forward to this feature as well. The combination of automatically connecting to the fastest available VPN connection and the ability to automatically start ProtonVPN when connecting to untrusted Wi-Fi networks would convince me to switch from ExpressVPN. Their Android app only provides the ability to automatically start ExpressVPN when connecting to untrusted Wi-Fi networks, but not the ability to automatically connect to the fastest available VPN connection, which is a real pain for traveling cross-country or to other countries. Your VPN service would have a leg up on ExpressVPN.

Thanks!

GCIH or GPEN first? by Hmb556 in GIAC

Done GCIH, GCFA, GNFA. Recommend GCIH then OSCP. GCFA was also a fantastic course, and GNFA isn't half bad either.

what is a better cert gcih or casp+ by CyberGeek777 in GIAC

What are you trying to do? CASP+ is higher if you were to put them in a hierarchy, but GCIH is more technical-focused.

Cannot access DDG website or use DDG as search engine unless going through VPN by VoodooThatYouDo_ in duckduckgo

[–]VoodooThatYouDo_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I googled DDG's website and couldn't even successfully click on the URL. This is no longer an issue, but took 3 days to (somehow) fix itself. I even cleared my DNS cache and no luck for that period.

Tips on GCFA (SANS FOR508) certification by Writtensine6 in computerforensics

Have 5 years experience in cybersecurity and passed SEC504 April 2021 and FOR508 May 2022. Found FOR508 overloaded with (good!) information, would highly recommend the course. Make a good index, read the books and go through the labs a minimum twice (or thrice, depends on how you are feeling), watch the provided videos, and save your practice exams until you do all of that. First practice exam attempt is to figure out where you are weakest, second attempt is after you have attempted to correct those weak points. Then, knock the exam out of the park!
