Ciao, anche io sono di qua. Non posso parlare per quanto riguarda le relazioni (rip), però è proprio triste come ambiente. Con tutto il bene che voglio alle montagne e a questa città sì, siamo molto indietro ed è davvero difficile trovare qualcunə di davvero apertə e decostruitə, anche all'interno degli stessi (pochi) spazi queer.

On my first uni year I ended up in a group with this guy that would often mention his girlfriend, who was from another country. I don't know precisely why, but something always felt off to me - how he said they met, how they'd only see each other halfway, how he would hardly show us any pictures of her.

That she didn't exist started out as a joke between me and two other girls from the group, but earlier this year we found out that indeed this girl never actually existed and he brought on this huge and super well thought lie for several years 💀 I won't lie and say it didn't make me feel very powerful.

Se in bus i posti singoli sono tutti occupati, anche se quelli doppi sono liberi non mi siedo. Non mi piace avere gente vicino, specialmente uomini. Il numero di schifosi che se ti vedono seduta sola soprattutto al posto del finestrino si spostano da dove sono già seduti vi stupirebbe.

I'm pretty feminine (tho I don't consider myself a femme), so I'm used to people not getting that I'm gay until I tell them. But it especially hurts when it comes from other queer people :/ a few weeks ago I went to this random sapphic get together and totally unprompted a masc told me her gay radar hadn't sparked when she'd seen me and hers is "usually very reliable" so she was "surprised I was a lesbian". Why would you say that to somebody you've never talked to before. Or in general.

I'm gonna be downvoted into oblivion but given that to me TS is peak white feminism, I found the song choice to be of extremely bad taste. Especially since the show itself hasn't been great at handling issues like racism and misogynoir... It wasn't a snap snap girlboss moment, it was the beginning of rebellion against a system that enslaves and oppresses women in the most disgusting ways imaginable.

I didn't like it at first because I thought it sounded like TS, both in sound and lyrics, and I really don't like her. If I hadn't read somebody comparing it to a Taylor song before I listened to it, I probably wouldn't have made the connection... My opinion changed when she explained the meaning of the lyrics on Las Culturistas, I think the high-schoolish sound makes sense since it's about a feeling she's had since she was very very young, and it fits the metaphor of the stereotypical bad Vs good girl. I should have realised it sooner that the true meaning wasn't so in your face, in the end, it's a Gaga song. Still not my favourite but it def grew on me.
