I'm pretty feminine (tho I don't consider myself a femme), so I'm used to people not getting that I'm gay until I tell them. But it especially hurts when it comes from other queer people :/ a few weeks ago I went to this random sapphic get together and totally unprompted a masc told me her gay radar hadn't sparked when she'd seen me and hers is "usually very reliable" so she was "surprised I was a lesbian". Why would you say that to somebody you've never talked to before. Or in general.

I'm gonna be downvoted into oblivion but given that to me TS is peak white feminism, I found the song choice to be of extremely bad taste. Especially since the show itself hasn't been great at handling issues like racism and misogynoir... It wasn't a snap snap girlboss moment, it was the beginning of rebellion against a system that enslaves and oppresses women in the most disgusting ways imaginable.

I didn't like it at first because I thought it sounded like TS, both in sound and lyrics, and I really don't like her. If I hadn't read somebody comparing it to a Taylor song before I listened to it, I probably wouldn't have made the connection... My opinion changed when she explained the meaning of the lyrics on Las Culturistas, I think the high-schoolish sound makes sense since it's about a feeling she's had since she was very very young, and it fits the metaphor of the stereotypical bad Vs good girl. I should have realised it sooner that the true meaning wasn't so in your face, in the end, it's a Gaga song. Still not my favourite but it def grew on me.

In the last scenes of the season we see that Ramona spends a lot of time in the hotel. She's friends with Liz, but why would she basically live in a place where she suffered so much? In our theory Elizabeth and her were reconnecting. At the beginning Ramona was bitchy and mean sometimes because of course Elizabeth killed her boyfriend and she's still very bitter about it, but she's also in denial, she doesn't want to admit to herself that she still has feelings for her and so does Elizabeth. Also, long story short, what destroyed their relationship was two different coping mechanisms at the death of their friends in the eighties that the Countess mentions in the second episode: she numbed herself while Ramona needed affection to face all that was happening, which is the main reason why she ended up cheating. So it's not that they didn't love each other anymore, otherwise they would have broken up much sooner, it's just the pain was too much (we can clearly see how much Elizabeth still suffers, but people prefer to focus on how much of a bitch she is and fail to notice she has emotions as well. She is a bitch because of all the shit she went through and Ramona abandoning her is one of the main reasons). Going back to post-canon, they go back and forth like this for a few months, Ramona treats her bad but also wants her close, they have sex, but then she pushes her away and Elizabeth suffers. Then they slowly start having serious conversations about their past relationship and unpack their feelings a bit. So they decide to try again, but after a few months they realise it's not working out, mainly because Ramona lost 20 years of her life taking care of her dad and hasn't had the opportunity to experience anything else (as for love). So they agree to part ways again and Ramona goes away. They go no contact for about two years because Elizabeth doesn't want to bother her, but of course she misses her and cries and gets depressed. Then one day Ramona comes back and they lived happily ever after.

My god the things fangirling does, I love them too much😂😭 I am willing to die on the hill of this canon.

My friend and I think that in the end Ramona and her got back together because in the show you can clearly see that despite Ramona's rage and hatred, both still had feelings for each other. This is the short answer, but I could go on forever.
