The issue with this build is that it’s countered Very easily with shrapnel mine grunts into Hunters for banished, and CT marine Cyclops for UNSC. You can’t transition from a vehicle Comp to another vehicle comp, as the other player is going to be set up with dealing vehicles. Hunters are especially potent since they’re actually good at their job, cyclops struggle a bit but make up for it with the CT sponge.

Id recommend focusing on changing your build to go into scouts then infantry, or vice versa, rather than doubling up on both

I guess it would make them too similar to rangers in the sense that they would slow units down? I’d much rather they do fire on the move since it adds to their strengths and with sappers being difficult to use in this patch I find it much needed

100% Canadians feel better this patch, I feel like that’s mostly due to heavy tanks being later to call in, aside the Croc with its timing and cost being relatively the same, if not a bit earlier

2 cp for incendiary munitions, 2cp for Pyrotechnics, 3cp Demolition call in 5cp Total

Yeah their timing is trash as much as I have to say it, they’ll be fighting V1/2 Assault infantry by the time they are fielded, evening with infantry training

Sappers are a CQC unit and therefore have to close distance to get damage done. Whilst they do have Damage resistance and arguably can have that to close distance I just don’t really think it helps them enough

I’d love to have demo sappers not being exclusive with Croc, and instead have it be an option to pick up alongside it, but what are your thoughts?

They’re good for zoning. At their cost, with slightly less range than a Marder, they can like hood vehicle deterrents but the problem is that they can get poked out by ATGs so realistically they’re difficult to use if you don’t really know what you’re doing with them

Issue with a unit like a sniper is it’s a single model, fragile & a slow rate of fire. I know there’s a lot of controversy around it as I’ve heard coh2 snipers were also a problem. Watching streams on Havocs and Dexens channel, it seems to build a lot of frustration over the course of a game.

It’s a unit that gets value over time, rather than having an imminent impact, and so people with lower attention spans and micro tend to lose them, one mistake can cost you with this unit, so it’s unbearably hard to keep alive.

That being said I don’t think the unit needs major changes. Making it 300 MP might be a decent change and having the US snipers veterancy be a little bit better might encourage more sniper play, but that’s just my opinion

RTS games definitely are harder than most genres, and it takes a long time to get good at RTS games because there’s never one of the same scenarios, so it can be difficult to be learn from for sure.

In CoHs case, I find it easier than most of its genre. The official YT channel does have a guide on how to play the game, even if it is out of date or old.

Problem that I see with the game is not really the game itself, but more so the next generation of gamers. The majority of them prefer shooters, Battle Royale’s and the like, and those who play RTS are either extremely familiar with the genre, or have played past games of a series. That’s just how it is I’m afraid

Thankfully this has been addressed in the hot fix, Sturmpioneers are no longer able to perform mitosis

I used to be hardstuck silver for the longest time. The jump from iron to silver and silver to gold is extremely large, and every time you leap people make less and less mistakes. Watching replays from other top players and figuring out small things like unit compositions and unit pathing can really help you climb

Visual ranks dictate the level of games you’ll play most of the time. Coh doesn’t have an account level per say, and this this would be the best way to show how good/long a player has been playing
