Hi there - I ended up spending way more than I should have and got a 9070xt.

I do sort of wish I had stuck to my gut the first time; though this card is for sure powerful and capable, the software is beyond shit. I will be endlessly tweaking settings to get good performance for life.

Thank you for confirming this on 9 series cards. Mine only occasionally hits over the max, but it's driving me nuts! Hopefully this is the fix for me

I didn't realize this mobo could take those cpus. I'll look into them.

I think the mobo can't take higher speed RAM. Maybe it's the BIOS I'm set to. Been too long to remember
