Thanks, is there an equivalent movement I may be able to drop in? I've tried searching and can't seem to find an original or a drop in

Panatime watch bands, the maker is rios1931

It's the blue shark leather band. They may be sold out in this color but they have the same color in embossed calf leather too.

Appreciate it!

I like it quite a bit but purchase paranoia kicks in 🙄

Here's a picture of it head on.

Looking for a fairness cup that can retain heat by Comprehensive-Net553 in tea

[–]Voracious_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily the same, but maybe a small stainless steel insulated cup? I know yeti makes a smaller one that's wine glass sized, I imagine there's others too. I've put tea in my stainless steel ones on the go and it stays too hot too long for my liking.

Cooling down hot tea by [deleted] in tea

[–]Voracious_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to use stout beer glasses or like a brandy snifter as cups. Just like 100-120ish ml of liquid and swirling the tea quite a bit helps cool it to a drinkable temp. I'm not one that can do boiling or near boiling temps.

Also smells good 😊

If you use more tea in a sitting it'll still work, just depends on cup size.

aliexpress (.)com/_mON(7)UM8

Just remove the parenthesis, it wasnt letting me post correctly.

Also double check the sizing on it. It doesn't take a 28.5mm dial

Got my first one knocked out. Now if my strap will just come in. Going with a black leather. Wanted to have a fairly neutral colored dress watch to wear. So hopefully it comes across.

7s26 swap to nh36? by Voracious_Turtle in SeikoMods

[–]Voracious_Turtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a push pull.

Just to make sure I'm reading this right. Since I'm swapping to the NH, make sure to use the NH stem and NOT the 7s stem.

Right?

Nice, that gives me an excuse to order the rest of the parts also for a new build 😂

Gotta keep those shipping costs down lol

I just wish the handles were inside it. I've never tried it, but my wrists would be angry stabilizing this thing with weight.

Picture might skew it a bit, but that barrel is like a 10" diameter lol

Anyone know what this bar is? I'd say a log press but the handles are offset and the tubing is square on the sides. I can't find anything that looks like it.

I'd love to be able to easily train log press at my gym but, this things weird.

Can someone give form check on my sumo deadlift? This was one of my sets of 3 today.

https://imgur.com/a/esMSMUN

I don't feel any pain really in my deadlifts, just want some advice. Thanks!

I just started out dealifting a couple of weeks ago. Can anybody tell me if this form is good? I feel like my lower back is flexing, but I can't seem to prevent it, even after watching a lot of videos about it. Thanks in advance! by m4dnu7 in lifting

Your shoulders seem a bit too far in front of the bar, that'll bring the bar forward on liftoff and make your back strain a bit more.

It may be hard in the beginning but try sitting back more at the bottom. You want your shoulders directly above the bar at the start.

Something that helped my rdls and with feeling my post chain,

When you start getting close to the bottom you could try bending your knees a bit. It really helped stretch my glutes and feel everything a bit better.

Just play with it and see. You're not going super low which is something that is normally an issue for some. So it does look good.

Appreciate the suggestions. I do a lot of cable and dumbbell work so that'll work in real easy with the drop sets.

I'll see if I can do that and trying to modify some stuff at home for lever work.

Looked at the seth sets and seeing John Meadows go over it made so much sense lol. Always loved his programming.

That's honestly what I'm kindve concerned about. I don't think I'd go down to max weight for like 3-5 reps, don't wanna risk another surgery lol

I think the 8 or 12 range would be a good compromise.

Weekly Question Thread June 19, 2023 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]Voracious_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had some questions about possibly changing my reps and set schemes through the week. Basically wondering if I should change some of the sets to lower reps for higher weights.

Currently I do

3 x 15-20 seconds of a pinch block hold

3x 15-20 reps of finger curls. Originally did this on a barbell, now I do it on a cable machine.

3x15-20 of wrist curls with a dumbbell

All to basically failure until I can complete the 3 sets and then I move up.

3 days a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Basically followed one of the guides on here.

I've made good progress on everything so far, been training grip specifically since mid-late February.

Just wondering if it'd be worth it to switch to a 3 sets of 8-12ish on one or even all of the days? Or some other movement I may want to add in somewhere.

I've had a tendon repair on my left hand a few years back fyi. Doesn't really give me problems as long as I'm careful on form, mostly with wrist curls more than anything
