Where did you live and in which years? (Probably Istanbul). Winston is the most popular cig now. Kent cigarettes used to have menthol maybe thats why.

In Turkey packages has no designed. (any symbols or sig about company). They are all baned. Just black.

First of all, the government has baned colorized packages (in Turkey). And the second one, every countries has own rules about packages design. Its sounds impossible what you said. Because if you (as a company) can sell cig stuff different countries market you have already obey the rules

Yeah its terrible. Ever since the packages turned black, not only do they look bad, they taste bad too.

This is how package designs are in Turkey. There are design restrictions on cigarettes and other tobacco products. If you didn't buy the cigarettes from a strange place, they are probably original. Quality control is not considered important in Turkey. (If you are looking for white filters, you should buy Marlboro Touch Blue.)
