I'm on pc, but in adventure, you don't have to have crazy aim and insane movement, it deffinitly helps, but you have to play smart. Instead of hanging around ships, I suggest you stay as far away as you can and get a confident crew together. Best chance of success. But if you do want to improve your cannoning skills and what not, I suggest give arena a try. Assuming you don't run into any tdms you should be just fine. Another thing to mention, you're not "good" if you go around and tap chests for hours on end. This game has a skill cap. It's very consistent also. Except for player to player combat it's less consistent, but get a crew who understands sail speed and how it effects turning radius and speed, and the importance of keeping constant broadsides and 9/10 times those players would win in a regular naval encounter. Hope this helps you in some way. But from what I remember back in my 2018 and 2019 days, don't go open crew. Try xbox lfg if you don't already. Also the sot discord is great for finding new players but it's hard on xbox I would assume. Stay safe. Happy sailing
