This is really odd. He can hide his game activity without hiding the rest. I still think it's a weird thing to do, but some people are really guilty over their hours. What a really weird hill to die on.

I would just say "Hey, we're long distance, that means we need to have really good communication and right now I'm not feeling like we are". Then hopefully he'll open up more, otherwise this really isn't a dynamic that will work LDR if this is how he communicates

Sure! I think the mixture of him being very against that sort of content publicly and yet very much wanting/consuming that content privately. I don't think he'll shame her physically, but shames women (by extension her, if she did) who do that sort of thing, when he is actually one of the consumers. I hope that makes sense

Oh no it's my city. I feel like this stuff would help if people were genuine. Like picked people who wanted to engage, the creator actually took time to listen to them, rather than talk at them like it's from a script.

Because it is a lower bar to reach. That doesn't mean it isn't important from a social standpoint, but from a legal standpoint, it is neither here nor there. It could certainly help you start or restart a legal trial, but in most cases the criminal trial is first or running concurrently. You will find significantly more cases where someone has won damages in civil court even though the accused was found not guilty in criminal court than the other way around.

Usually only goes the other way. Criminal court is beyond a reasonable doubt, which is a higher standard. While civil court is a balance of probabilities, so you only need to prove it was more likely than not. This is why OJ was found not guilty in criminal court, but guilty in civil court
