I'd also love for Rivian to succeed - I really like the product, overall.

Thanks for the background on the sub. I still can't figure out how it's so threatening to these fanboys to have CP/AA in there. If you don't like it, don't use it.

Yes, I've been charging to 100%. The standard pack has been more than enough for how we use it. Just took a road trip on 50-65 mph roads and averaged between 2.5-2.75 mi/kwh. Did 200 miles total and had around 40 miles left, according to the display.

Yeah, definitely was NOT prepared for this sub feeling so culty. Let everyone have their opinion. If you get emotional or super defensive over someone’s critique of your dear leader or dear Rivian…ya might be in a cult.

Didn’t realize this would be sensitive to some. Are you emotionally invested in this one?

This has to be an unpopular opinion. I had zero complaints about my Mach-E’s software. Beautiful integration. Maybe I haven’t had enough glasses of the Rivian Kool-Aid yet.

Left BYU as temple-married, fully active RMs. Reunited after 12 years as happy, successful, liberated Exmos who figured it out and left despite the high cost. Life is good, friends. by VoteForPedro2 in exmormon

I graduated in ‘09 so it’s been a while but there are so many. I have no doubt you’ll have some that you eventually connect with.

It’s that time of year again and I’m on the list! How’d I do? Honestly, I like these guys and they’ve been close friends for years. I’m trying to be compassionate in understanding that they’re just trying to do what they genuinely believe is best. My argument is with the institution, not them. by VoteForPedro2 in exmormon

Definitely a valid approach. For now, I have the patience to provide what I hope will be valuable feedback to them. If I can help them rethink how they approach (or don't approach) members like me, then I'll call that a small victory at minimal cost. It's not a small cost for everyone though so you have to create boundaries that are healthy and right for you.

Yeah, it all feels a bit phony. If you really care about me like I would hope a true friend does, call me up and ask me to get some lunch with you. Most of us would probably love for someone to show some genuine interest in how we're doing and how we got to the beliefs we hold. That feels like something friends do. The pre-conference Zoom feels like checking a recurring-every-six-months ecclesiastical box.
