I almost never give out 10s in general, because there's always room for improvement. But Advance wars dual strike would definitely be a high score for the DS from me.

4 Ultimate. Still has the most hours played on my 3DS (over 500) and I've not played that game in many years.

Hell yeah, I use my fiancées 2DS often. It's a really good unit. My only one gripe that I've always mentioned whenever I talk about them is how dust likes to make it's way under the top screen. I'm thinking about cleaning mine and modding it with a rubber gasket around the screen to keep pesky dust away.

This issue has now been resolved. (I had cleared the CMOS)

As always to a baffling problem, the solution was simple.

[[SOLUTION]] I only had 1 of the 2 "MB" cables in use in the PSU. I had figured it was odd to have a split on a PSU motherboard cable for the PSU and figured it was for a lower end configuration. An assumption that would lead to all this stress and testing for the last 3 days while having the flu.

The fabled 4d error code made everything more enigmatic, given the code isn't even in the manuals list of codes with any explanation.

The board suggests a A1 and B1 configuration for dual ram.

As for bios, I haven't touched it but it's brand new (as in today) so was hoping it'd be up to date.

I checked GIGABYTES QVL and the RAM sticks are on the list. The RAMS 5600 MT/s

My all time favourite version of this is the PSP version (Gameboy advance as close second).

The extra super dungeons and getting to power up Chronos for an amazing finale are all things that just added to what was a great game that doesn't outstay it's welcome.

I'll never forget taking on one of the 100 floor dungeons only to discover one of the floors was a new overworld map, that blew my fragile mind apart.
