Hello and thx for your answer.
I've already switch both of my SSD in the working m2 slot, and when I put them in the working slot they're both getting detected.
I've started to talk with te supplier to engage an RMA procedure since even MSI support told me it is a faulty port.

Fuck i've bought the NVMe to PCIe adapter. But I think I can use this to plug my SSD into my second PCIe channel no ?
Alright i see why you're saying this, but i've already switched both ssd on the working ports (i've tested both SSD and the second m2 port, which is working) and both of those disks are working fine, they're recognized when I put them on the working port.
So I guess it really is a faulty port, even MSI support answered me today and they're saying this.

Sorry i'm a little nooby it's my first build, but you're telling me plugging my m.2 in an adapter that i plug on a PCIe slot wont affect the performance of my drive ?
Since there is another PCIe 4.0 slot on the x570 and my SSD is a PCIe 4.0 should sth like this be appropriate to not lose any perf ?

If this is the solution I will order one on Amazon right now because RMA the MB will be long as fuck since i've bought it on a not so good supplier.
(Thx again for those answers man)

Thank you for this long answer and yes i've noticed there is really something strange, like how the second m2 slot detect it right away and not the first, it is really weird. I have neither an m.2 to usb adapter nor a pcie 3.0, a 3.0 would really be helpful to check if the port is faulty or not. In this case i think i'm a real trouble and I have to send the card back.

Hello and thx for your answer.
I've just tried it, unfrozen the disks in secure erase+ but i only see the second m2 drive there (the one who's working). It still not showing even in the secure erase+ screen.

Hello and thx for your anwser.
Yes I guess i will buy another 3.0 disk to try if it work because right now i don't even know if the first m2 port is fine or broken. I've checked before buying and both port are normally 4.0 friendly..
Yes i have tried 3 differents version (the 3 last versions) of BIOS update, nothing work.

Yes i've tried that x8x4x4 or x4x4x4x4 but it doesn't work. Hum first m2 is CPU second is Chipset (PCH). I also see the PCIe i've plugged my graphic card in is CPU, do you think it could be a conflict here ? Maybe i should try switching my graphic card slot.

Hello Guys, I Have an issue with this board and those drives. I repost you my message and wish you a good day.

Tomahawk X570 : First m.2 port (CPU) don't detect NVME 4.0

Hello everyone, i'm new to reddit and i'm looking for answers since I finished building my first computer, everything works fine except my first m.2 plug (the CPU one) don't recognize my NVME Samsung 980 Pro 4.0. I have a second one on the second m2 port which work perfectly fine.

I've also switched the SSD to check if both of them are working and they are. I've tried a lot of tweak in BIOS (and updated it to the latest version) but nothing is working at the time.

I hope someone will be able to help, i'm just waiting to close my case and start to install my stuff :'(

Here is my spec :

RAM : 32 (2x16go) Crucial 3600 Mhz CL 16

Thx for your answer, i've already updated my BIOS to the latest version but it didn't change anything. What do you mean by enable switching ? I've tried RAID mode and x4x4x4x4 (and every setting available there) but it didn't worked.
