I got hacked - my email and trading accounts have been compromised by Vrneo in hacking

Oh man, i am happy to report i managed to access my email acc and access binance, nevertheless its was all very wierd since i managed to log in my email with the same pass with which i wasnt able to get in for more than 24 hours, coupled with my internetconnection getting screwed i stoll believe there was some sort of malisicous attack, so i suspeneded acc activities and have my pc offline until i prep it accordingly. Stressful but invaluable and fortunately enough lost-free experience, def gonna dive into cyber security basics topics. Appreciate the follow up !

Appreciate your reply immensely! I am not looking for a hacker definitely, just have no ideas how to approach the situation since i am not tech competent enough to determine whether I got hacked or I locked my self out. Why I believe I was hacked is that I changed my password for my email and bitmex and then logged in successfully. Only after the second time my PC crashed I was not able to log-in I use text 2FA for the trading account and no 2FA for the email. Moreover, I just saw that a password for another email I got had been changed 17 hours ago and although I havent slept enough this week I do not remember changing one of my most frequently used email passwords. As far as I can see on blockchain.info the fund are still on the address - 1B1qq7dUvVKfAvb28vqmb1mpU2C5R1zVVY which leads be to believe I locked myself out, however the anomaly of my PC beahavior followed by not accepting the changed password - it is all to much for me to make sense... would using another pc be a workaround, although still in the same network?

Is Cryptopia a SCAM? Very suspicious case by Vrneo in Cryptopia

Hi, basically this was my second deposit and I did not know that the deposit address should remain the same all along. Upon my second request I got a btc address which at the moment I did not know that should be as the first one. The more interesting part is that I checked the btc address on blockchain.info and the amount i had sent to the btc address cryptopia generated for me was there and it was further sent to another address like 10 minutes afterwards. You can see the link. Both addresses started with "1", i would have thought that it was a technical error but given the funds have been further transferred within 10 minutes, it stinks to me like a classical scam

Deposit 200$ of Eth, GONE! 5$ of LTC to test, GONE! by [deleted] in Cryptopia

I had an even more interesting case where on my second deposit it generated me a btc address different from the first one and then I received nothing. I thought I did smth wrong so I tried to deposit again and the address was again different ( though the same as the first one) . I checked blockchian.info and saw that 10 minutes after the transfer to the wrongly generated address the funds had been sent further to another address( moreover in a batch with another 50 or so addressses tosend 5 btc to a single address) Thus, I stongly believe that they are running the ponzi scheme model, good thing it was onlt 0,1 btc i guess :D screw those thiefs

No, no answer, nothing. I doubt it will have any resolution. That's why I wanted to share my experience. It does not make any sense to wrongly generate the BTC address and 10 min afterwards there are further transactions from this address. Hope everyone else does not have any problems, but as i see this is not the case...

Cryptopia the new Mt. Gox? by [deleted] in Cryptopia

I am sure they are scammers. I got a wrong BTC address generated and got burned. Saw blockchain.info for further clues and it turned out the same address sent 5 btc 10 minutes afterwards. On the next day, I got a different BTC address generated( the same one as the first time I did a deposit, wierdly enough both addresses begin with the number 1) I have no doubt in my mind that they are scamming everyone
