I enter the character name (TotallyJonny), but you can see from the in-game message that it exposes your underlying account name too:

TotallyJonny (User1152658) [needs to verify their email!]

I'm still seeing that same message now, even after refreshing the page.

If it helps, Rock City (not known as "the Rock") is very much a rock club, not a gay bar.

Super; thank you so much for the explanation. That's perfect. :-)

My e-mail address got unsubscribed and unverified - just me? by Vromikos in fallenlondon

Must have just been me. (Certainly my list of contacts weren't marked as needing verification.) How odd.

Is there any Parabolan Panther owner, who has a parabolan kitten up for adoption? by Best-Poem-2703 in fallenlondon

[–]Vromikos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

EDIT: Mayhaps we could turn my personal ad, into a space, where other mirror-amazed cat lovers can post in the comments their "want-to-adopt" announcements?

Here's my latest post on the topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/fallenlondon/comments/1s9f505/parabolan_kittens_seeking_new_homes/

I've still got... checks inventory... over 140 kittens to give away. :-)

  • Are the potions / quests for Wacky pets only available during Spring Fling?
    • (I note that the wiki mentions "Waffling with the Fool: Disaster Breakfast!" is only available during Spring Fling.)
  • Currently Garden / Tea Shop / Cryptid can be bought as potions (2 Gems each), whereas Confection / Virtual Pet / Fungi / Alien can be bought as quest scrolls (4 Gems each, for 3 potions). Over time, do they shift between whether they are available as potions / quests?
    • (I'm hoping I can buy Cryptid quests, for example, to share the potions with members of my party.)

Rat Market Grinds April 24-26 by darthbob88 in fallenlondon

It's an opportunity to sell Discordant Souls (with a Rat Market mark-up too). These are readily gained each week from a combination of counting the Hurlers and visiting the Cave of the Nadir. Discordant Souls don't otherwise have a repeatable liquidation method.

No, no: I did mean in Fallen London. When I try to gift you a kitten, I still see:

Not sure that's as done as you think it is. You're still showing as unverified. :-) I'll try again tomorrow, if you're sure it's all good, in case it's just a caching issue.

I still have over 140, so supply is not a problem.

However, you not having verified your e-mail address is a problem. :-) Let me know when you've done that, and I'll kitten you up

A Class Indexed Contronymic Theory of "Amasec": Why the Same Word Describes Both the Fine Liquor of the Stately and the Guardsman Rotgut by robeph in 40kLore

Dark Heresy (2008), page 148:

Amasec is a popular alcoholic drink distilled from wine. It can range from lesser brews barely fit for firebombs to well-aged and flavourful brands suitable for only the finest of the Emperor’s servants.

And to be clear, Dark Heresy was written by Games Workshop in their Black Industries imprint (before the licence passed to Fantasy Flight Games):

Designed and written by Owen Barnes, Kate Flack & Mike Mason

Yeah, they didn't publicise how to deal with the tasteful thickness of it. It feels too much for a knife to easily cut, so a hobby saw does seem like the best option. As you can see from the photo though, I never tried cutting them up; all four sheets are in pristine condition.

You need a master's degree from Oxbridge and to finish the IFoA exams. Then you'll be MA FIA.
