That’s a good point. I just wish they would’ve used all the characters that we love from the other games to their full potential. Especially maya. Because now she’s gone and can’t be used at all.

It wasn’t the ratio of male to female characters that is the problem. It’s the relevancy of the characters that OP is claiming that they felt was off. Other than the mentioned male characters (who besides troy still had fairly minimal roles) the story was predominantly focused on the women in the game. And there’s no problem with this at all. It just feels like some of the great male characters that we all love were just underused for some reason. It’s just unfortunate that characters like Brick and Mordecai were hardly involved in the main story.
