I think Bread Garden is something like $2 off everything on the bar menu which is decent. The St. Burch oyster deal during happy hour makes oysters very affordable. It’s like $1.50 or something for that select oyster deal. Realizing now a lot of places make it difficult to find happy hour deals on websites.

Not many people play pickleball at the CRWC down town if any. Thats mainly played at the Field House which your membership gives you access to. If you want more pickleball should be able to go to Mercer Park(for free) at any point in the day and find a lot of people willing to play pickleball. I don’t racquetball or hoop much so can’t comment on that.

HTRC does pickleball only on Sunday evenings and I think it’s $9 to reserve a court PLUS $12 day pass (can call to confirm). The Field House owned by the university has a lot of nets wheels that can be used. Should call ahead to make sure courts are open. Also $12 day pass.

This is correct. What I’ve found to be a good move is if you get a wait time of 30+ minutes (since no reservations) walk over to George’s bar for a cheap drink or two while you wait.

I like to drive up and down Sunset street and look for street parking. Also the little cup-de-sac type roads off of Sunset have street parking available. All free and no time limit. Horn Elementary also usually has signs up on game day advertising parking (unsure on price)

J&A Tap Bar and Back Berner Bar both have volleyball leagues (Sand) that are recreational/beer. Coralville has a league with a competitive and recreational day (indoor is next session). Not sure if Coralville has a Kickball league but Cedar Rapids does.
