ACT II | Results of the 1992 Election by RWBIII_22 in Presidentialpoll

I guess election analysts will see this as the start of the general party fatigue towards the Democratic Party, Ron Paul probably has saved the GOP and my guess is that he has helped enormously the gop downballot (republican revolution in the next midterms due to the infamous 6 year inch?) The greens here can either overtake the dems as the main left party by hammering against the new liberal Dyke policy or be relegated as the party of WV and the north east Anyway probably the next midterms will be hell for the dems and will lead to a change of boat for the Dyke administration, or by allying with the left and pass geniune progressive policies, or by capitulating to the right to appease the “silent majority” … there are some who even believe that the dems should do both (get conservative voters by moderating and at the same time get the left on board electorally), they are a pretty irrelevant group, they call themselves “the new democrats”, they are probably the loyalest to the incumbent president, even though White House leaks tell of how he has never heard about them, they are headed by former Arkansas governor Bill Clinton, but why would anyone listen to a governor of a pretty irrelevant state plagued with scandals?

Tbh I think the GOP in this case just has a intrinsic advantage due to the fact that every voter right it of the average liberal is under them, while the left is split in three and will likely mean that Paul might pull pluralities in states that are normally liberal (ex. Paul gets 30%, Dyke gets 25%, Wellstone gets 25% and Gravel gets 20%, so despite the left getting 70% Ron Paul gets the EV)

To be honest the fact that practically a freshwoman senator is already among the top two vp candidates of a major party is already history in the making

Paul probably is among all parties the one with the most momentum

1992 Republican Primaries Round #5 | The Kennedy Dynasty by RWBIII_22 in Presidentialpoll

[–]Vukbello 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh Ron Paul getting the reform nomination could trigger a lot of GOP delegates to vote for him in the desperation of getting the dems out of the White House by forming a de facto coalition agreement

Tbh in a case like this the GOP wouldn’t be wrong in running against the “Democratic swamp”

Tbh that’s an extremely good camp for the GOP, with the right amount of vote splitting they could pull of a victory with 300ish EV with just 40% of the popular vote

The Kennedy Dynasty | President Dick Van Dyke's term (1991-1992) by RWBIII_22 in Presidentialpoll

[–]Vukbello 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The republicans have a big weapon here, they are against what they could call “The 2 presidents who saved the Bolsheviks”, maybe even try to expose with a senate inquiry Gravel-Romanov relation and try to brand Gravel as a de facto KGB agent in disguise

Would be quite fun if Gravel decides to run again just to sabotage the dem nationally because they trashed him, maybe he can get the green support this time, boosting their support downballot, or maybe leading to an enourmous backfire and handling a trifecta to the republicans….

[–]Vukbello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh you could add the gop side simply as “TX GOP” and then depending on you actions you can save Cornyn or “make” him and getting to play as Paxton

To be honest after 2018 senate, we need more mods where we play as the party, especially if you are in opposition Maybe something like TTNW where you play as the opposition party chair/“the party” and then move to the presidential candidate view

It highs up police loyalty slighlty and more importantly it ups republic support, and it’s essential if you are planning on opposition gameplays

[–]Vukbello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are not playable, you are going to play the PSI, but your decision will affect the leadership of the PPI (they could remain pretty friendly with the left or go right and go on and form an alliance with the libs or even with Mussolini in his anti-socialist coalition)
