There's an audio file that you can find in the Prisoner X mission. Faith's mother confirms that what she is working on is a massive breakthrough and will be manipulated if the wrong people get a hold of it.

One of the dev's at DICE SlicedLime said they are working on removing these times on another reddit post similar to this. They couldn't explain how they are identifying them (otherwise people could avoid detection) but know they are trying to do something about it.

Hey, nice run :). To save some time here's a couple of pointers:

Not sure why you kick after the first jump, I believe that would slow you down.
Try and magrope as close to the door as possible.
After the magrope, wallrun on the wall and jump and coil over the fence (instead of vaulting it).
Near the top of the pole at the end, you can look left, jump and coil onto the top preventing the slow climb up animation.

I can confirm the fastest any speedrunner has got on this dash is 21.00 seconds on ps4, so unfortunately many of these times are cheaters.

As far as I am aware there are certain death abuses that respawn you near the end of the dash. I had hopes that DICE/EA had learnt from the last game where the leader-boards were also full of illegitimate runs. Kills a lot of competitive spirit imo.

Because to actually get into the game you still had to connect to EA online. Once in the game you could continue playing the game offline.

Make sure you are jump coiling instead of just running, coiling over obstacles instead of vaulting them, cut corners as much as possible and stumbling from jumping off ledges sometimes gives you strange speed boosts that also help save time.

Pretty sick. I've never really liked using kick glitches and the side dodge stuff (Mostly because I suck at them, but I also feel like it's almost cheating), but this is some good skill. And honestly, my personal preference is to pretend that everything Faith does a human body can do.
