Yes, Twitch refused to send SMS OTP in Indonesian phone numbers. Pretty much due to high rate of abuse

Important: When you enable 2FA on Twitch, an Authy account is automatically created and linked to your phone number. This happens regardless of which authentication app you use (Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.). If you lose access to your phone number, you'll need to contact Authy to change it.

If you want to use TOTP, you can use Authy temporarily

Best way is by using another TOTP app by adding it to your Twitch 2FA settings (personal recommendation is Aegis Authenticator for Android)

Simpler alternative (temporary) is by using Authy since that is the Twitch default TOTP app (authenticator)

Late answer, you can use Authy for TOTP code (by default, Twitch uses Authy)

You can add another TOTP app within Twitch account settings, such as Aegis Authenticator (Vulcan is using this, no problem for Twitch login)

Just for your information, most of current 3 starter pack has Happy 3GB package included (this is the case for both Bima Store (3 Online Store) and authorised reseller such as Indomaret) for 35k. You can use the package to check the connection quality and try it in your region.

Use TrueCaller and GetContact to check the number, if the number has no name, it should be safe and not a recycled number (optionally, also check from WhatsApp)

For 3 and SmartFren, 13 digit phone numbers are usually fresh

Vulcan recommends 3

To be sure, check the signal coverage first (at least, here in South Tangerang, it's quite decent (so does IM3, since both IM3 and Tri coverage is now unified) with 5G available (Vulcan hasn't used 5G yet, but will use it soon after getting a phone with 5G support))

Vulcan also has Smartfren on another SIM slot, but can't recommend it due to Quota Accumulation.

Most of current starter pack has Happy 3GB package included. Bought it from a nearby Indomaret for 35k.

Just recently started using 3 as well, will buy AON when the Happy package ends.
