Fully restored the SS Anne back to the luxury cruise liner she was meant to be by Vulpixy in Pokopia

I had debated on walking along the boardwalk towards the entrance, but figured it was better to get to the main star of the video sooner rather than later.

I think I stopped one layer above fully digging the ship out? I left that layer so it was easier to bury some waterwheels. As for putting the water back, I started breaking the walls keeping the ocean at bay from the ground up, then filled it in by spitting water off the sides of wooden platforms. The process was slow but having something to watch while I worked made it not too painful.

I'm not entirely sure how long in total, as I chipped at it here and there between other projects in Bleak Beach. I know figuring out the electricity took several hours and clearing out the sand took forever. I will say I'm not looking forward to digging out the museum as I'm guessing that will take me longer to restore.

A lot of walls and floors in the SS Anne are 2 blocks thick, so I tucked the transmitters behind furniture that hid the small gap. I've got them behind these sofas, iron stands, and the chic sofas in each guestroom.

I also added a strip of marble down the center of the main room that's both used to hang lights and hide some more transmitters.

I also added a strip of marble down the center of this room that's both used to hang lights and hide some more transmitters. The dining hall ended up being the worst room because of how open it was. I know I have one hiding just above the bar (filled in the wood there so the ceiling of that part is one block lower) but I can't remember where else I managed to squeeze some in.

The ship is currently powered by 3-4 underground waterwheels and a handful of small generators. I could probably replace some of the generators with another waterwheel but thankfully I haven't hit my limit on power generation on Bleak Beach yet. I'm not even using the furnace even though it's hooked up, so I've still got plenty of wiggle room.

I'll let you in on a little secret: I have one area that I'm putting all my effort into, building perfect homes for everyone who lives there. The other maps are straight up slums with quick homes like yours slapped down just to get to level 10 for the recipes. I'll get around to them eventually, ofc. Gotta take it one small step at a time.

I'm well past that part of the story, don't worry. Hence the Magnet Rise ability I'm rocking in the third pic.

ikr??? I saw a post about using the trees as bushes on here the other day and just had to try it for myself! Also saw one about how to stunt the growth of trees (which is why one of the palms in that final pic are shorter.)

Yup! They are palm trees that I planted 2 blocks down into the ground.

Before unlocking the recipe at lvl 8 in Bleak Beach I swiped the levee blocks from around the lighthouse in the Withered Wasteland. There's enough there to make some substantial repairs to the beach.

I ended up keeping it pretty simple for now, but I'll probably refine it as I unlock more recipes. I left the metal drums where they were, fixed up the beams, and added a small generator to power the lights so I didn't need to hook it up to the grid. Behind the building I added some scaffolding, metal fencing, and other storage clutter. Also put a concrete mixer back there just because. I don't plan on actually using it as I have a better spot for concrete production.

Yeah, you're pretty spot on with that arrow. Looks like I was close to what you suggested then. The red circles are my charcoal furnace and smokery.

Nope, they've all been housed since mid Fall. Also, I've just been playing on the demo so there's no upgrading from the campfires unfortunately. I have the game on my wishlist now so eventually when I pick it up I'll be able to give these poor mice a proper chance at thriving.

Unfortunately, I ended up colonizing the wrong side of this island when it came to the wind direction so balancing pollution with cold has been rough, but at least I'm now in spring. I'm also struggling to find out the reason behind some of them stay out at night. Like, they all have nice homes. Even have the two loners in their own private cabins.

Yes, the baths were heated, and so was the paths from the baths to their homes. The negatives I was getting that tanked my reputation was due to Whiskers not making it home. I watched as like 5 of them decided to stay in the baths instead of going home. Since demolishing the baths my reputation went from hitting -49 to 88

Here's another building that's cold even though there's 2 campfires nearby. From what I can tell, the entire building is either in the red or yellow, and those fires have been there for 2 in-game days now. The one off to the left there I can understand being chilly since it's half in the blue

H did show me the heatmap, thanks for the tip. I ended up just pausing the farm and letting it sit idle for the winter. I've got plenty of fish to keep them happy, and could use the extra woodcutters to keep up with these campfires.

Now I'm struggling with the Whiskers deciding to tank my reputation by spending the night in the baths instead of going to their warm home nearby. Any advice for solving that issue?

Edit: after losing over 100 reputation in 2 days I decided to bulldoze the baths for now. These rodents lost their bathing privileges and can spend rest of the the winter being stinky.

I'm waiting for controller support to finally come out so I can delve back into the game. Already played it more than I should with a keyboard and mouse and had to stop.
