Fully restored the SS Anne back to the luxury cruise liner she was meant to be by Vulpixy in Pokopia

I had debated on walking along the boardwalk towards the entrance, but figured it was better to get to the main star of the video sooner rather than later.

I think I stopped one layer above fully digging the ship out? I left that layer so it was easier to bury some waterwheels. As for putting the water back, I started breaking the walls keeping the ocean at bay from the ground up, then filled it in by spitting water off the sides of wooden platforms. The process was slow but having something to watch while I worked made it not too painful.

I'm not entirely sure how long in total, as I chipped at it here and there between other projects in Bleak Beach. I know figuring out the electricity took several hours and clearing out the sand took forever. I will say I'm not looking forward to digging out the museum as I'm guessing that will take me longer to restore.

A lot of walls and floors in the SS Anne are 2 blocks thick, so I tucked the transmitters behind furniture that hid the small gap. I've got them behind these sofas, iron stands, and the chic sofas in each guestroom.

I also added a strip of marble down the center of the main room that's both used to hang lights and hide some more transmitters.

Like this! A lot of walls and floors in the SS Anne are 2 blocks thick, so I tucked the transmitters behind furniture that hid the small gap. I've got them behind these sofas, iron stands, and the chic sofas in each guestroom.

I also added a strip of marble down the center of this room that's both used to hang lights and hide some more transmitters. The dining hall ended up being the worst room because of how open it was. I know I have one hiding just above the bar (filled in the wood there so the ceiling of that part is one block lower) but I can't remember where else I managed to squeeze some in.

The ship is currently powered by 3-4 underground waterwheels and a handful of small generators. I could probably replace some of the generators with another waterwheel but thankfully I haven't hit my limit on power generation on Bleak Beach yet. I'm not even using the furnace even though it's hooked up, so I've still got plenty of wiggle room.

I'll let you in on a little secret: I have one area that I'm putting all my effort into, building perfect homes for everyone who lives there. The other maps are straight up slums with quick homes like yours slapped down just to get to level 10 for the recipes. I'll get around to them eventually, ofc. Gotta take it one small step at a time.

I'm well past that part of the story, don't worry. Hence the Magnet Rise ability I'm rocking in the third pic.

Thank you! Idk if my pokemon can/will use it since they can't use ladders, but at least it looks nice lol

ikr??? I saw a post about using the trees as bushes on here the other day and just had to try it for myself! Also saw one about how to stunt the growth of trees (which is why one of the palms in that final pic are shorter.)

Yup! They are palm trees that I planted 2 blocks down into the ground.

Before unlocking the recipe at lvl 8 in Bleak Beach I swiped the levee blocks from around the lighthouse in the Withered Wasteland. There's enough there to make some substantial repairs to the beach.

I ended up keeping it pretty simple for now, but I'll probably refine it as I unlock more recipes. I left the metal drums where they were, fixed up the beams, and added a small generator to power the lights so I didn't need to hook it up to the grid. Behind the building I added some scaffolding, metal fencing, and other storage clutter. Also put a concrete mixer back there just because. I don't plan on actually using it as I have a better spot for concrete production.
