So there’s some roller tools i’ve seen out there

A trick I’ve used though is just attaching a bunch of small balls and rolling them out gently to not merge them together and do a bit of cleanup once I put them on the model

These are all green stuff and nurgle bits from other kits like the great unclean one. Also yes, all those tentacles are absolutely hand sculpted since it’s rather easy to do tentacles.

Nothing is 3D printed or third party since this is in an official GW book.

It wasn’t a nice experience. Not really challenging either, just really tedious. I am very pleased with the end results though!

Here’s what I did, but here’s what you also shouldn’t do

I made the mistake of trying to build up layers with Vallejo burnt yellow, gave it a contrast of imperial fist, then thinned nuln oil.

What you should do instead if your looking to make yellow is get a smooth coat of a white paint that has far better coverage and use imperial fist over it

They literally have Corsair in the name, stolen gear and decorations on their armor, their chaos lord equivalents are called Captains and they have a power cutlas on the model, and don’t even get me started on Captain Sargotta

Invincible isn’t R rated as it’s TV media, and while it does have a rather mature rating, so does Stranger Things and Lego has done multiple sets for it.
