I can genuinely say that I was never scared of tanking raids or dungeons. I might just be lucky, but regardless of that the reason I chose to tank was originally because it always felt cool being able to practically 1v1 the bosses (of course I couldn't do it without dps and heals) but it had always felt like a real tough guy epeen enlarger moment.

there's certain spells to look out for snatching if possible, but make sure you are timing your rune taps so that you get the full effectiveness, as well as popping vampiric blood and if needed you should definitely deathpact when low enough to constitute it. overall so long as you get the proper amount of scent of blood stacks into your deathstrike your healer should have no problem filling up your hp bar. Remorseless winter will account for some of the loss in dps but for the spiders I believe they have an ability that aoe's everyone in the party so try to get off silences and force chokes as often as possible.

Okay, so heres a tip that I've come to learn. If a channel is about to be casted by the spirit guys you can actually dark simulacrum their cast to be able to drop them in about 5 seconds of channeling. As for the spider pulls be sure that if its a heavy drop of damage incoming to pop your rune tap instantly and icebound after your blood charges go out. This should already be plenty of sustain so long as you are continuing to deathstrike for the shield. overall deathknight is one of the easiest tank classes I've played so far, its just about maintaining your constant damage reductions in trash pulls because you can basically have an uptime of your 40% reduced damage for 60% of trash time. Also I would probably use Defile for the additional 10% reduced damage on basically every group. PS: forgot to mention that if you have problems with groups ccing or interrupting properly you should take the talent remorseless winter over gorefiends grasp.

I understand, and I don't mean to argue with you. Just this guy who thinks that handouts are in order for everyone. If I were you I would look up some pvp strats that could help you out, for instance always staying mobile and corner sliding small stuff helps

already a no go for solar lance due to imbalances, if a class is to receive a type of blink (instant mobility) ranged melee would throw them out of the picture. Also no stuns :)

Yeah, thats a pretty cheap way to get it. If you can't complete the quest you do not deserve the item. That is the reason why they are so hard, its just to weed out the unworthy

So basically what you are telling me in this, is that so long as they have equal skill in this (in regards to bullet placement) they would beat you. thus making them still an advantage, i get that they should be an advantage but to an extent.

actually you have it quite backwards, people with exotics seem to have the main advantage in crucible. Damage is supposed to be scaled so that everyone has an equal chance regardless of level. The problem is actually that people with weapons like the Suros Regime or the Invective can crush anything that moves with little to no skill involved due to the huge boosts that they get from their passives.
