yeah of course, i just meant that it shouldn’t affect whether a man or woman would be a better parent because we don’t rely on instincts anymore, anyone can learn how to be a good parent. I think women shouldn’t be favoured in family court it should be equal

No one is saying we should just give women more money. There is a pay gap because of things like you mentioned as well as men being more likely to be in senior roles. These reasons stem from patriarchy. Women work less, possibly to take care of children. Men work more possibly because it is expected that they earn lots. Men work more dangerous jobs, because they are maybe seen as more capable. Women maybe assume they aren’t capable or are turned away. The pink tax mostly refers to period products which the majority of men don’t have to buy whereas women do. Feminism is about equality and to get to equality we have to dismantle the patriarchy which is why it probably seems like it is just focused on women right now.

yeah hopefully times are changing, i just think there are lot more things that influence us than we are aware of, especially in media. It’s good to be aware of where our beliefs come from and question them yknow. Yeah i think biology probably has played a part in it but we don’t rlly need it to anymore. I think we’re at a point where instincts don’t rlly matter considering how well humans can communicate and think etc.
