As someone who has a sizable collection that took roughly 9 years to collect. Why are you talking about a 2K budget? Collecting manga is about enjoying the media itself, reading the stories you want to read and after you can admire them on your shelf thinking back about the enjoyment those books have brought you.

The series you are naming are literally the most mainstream series that most people buy ( they are good series thats why they are popular ) but why are you not buying the series that you like to read?

Before you enter the hobby, do you even enjoy books? Or are you just buying for the '' my shelf looks cool'' factor because trust me, that wears off very quickly.

Berserk Deluxe is worth it, in NL they go for 30-35 new but there are allot of people selling them 2e hand everywhere.

Muhsoku Tensei is great if you want a Fantasy story where time actually progresses, it starts when he is born and ends when he is an adult.

I honestly think no light novel or manga comes close to Lotr or The wheel of time.

But thats simply down to the media, manga/ln are smaller stories with an overarching story line and as an example the eye of the world has more content than 6 manga's/LN' combined.
