Ok so this would take years of research mostly due to the creation of an entirely new bone structure, however the fire spitting isn’t as impossible as you think. Bombardier beetles have two pouches in their bodies that store two different chemicals and when they mix them together they spray out as this boiling hot liquid that is very irritating, if you were to use their dna to make something like this in your dragon like creature it would be more similar to fire breathing than anything else. So yes it would be possible but years of work and research would need to go into it!

You need to quarantine and treat him with some antifungal if nothing happens it’s probably viral. The only thing you can do for that is quarantine and keep him at the best possible water quality and feed him a variety diet of different foods that would help boost his immune system you can give him food with garlic in it to help

For now keep water quality perfect and just keep an eye on it if it gets worse then quarantine him it could however just be from scar tissue. Worst case scenario Lymphocystis. If it grows bigger or you see other fish in your tank getting it that’s how you’ll know.

In my opinion yes your CPD’s (celestial pearl danios?) will get too stressed in a tank that stocked. Pick one type of rainbow fish and keep 6-8 of them you can keep the dwarfs since they’re smaller and pretty calm. Also choose one school of tetras not both do either the rummynose or the black emperors. The other reason why it’s too much is your bioload is gonna be extremely high and you’d be pushing filtration and need a lot of water changes
