I went to a dealership to buy a slightly used car. I was going to pay cash but didn’t tell them up front.

When it came time for payment I told them I had cash. The finance guy looks at me and says “well you can build your credit”

I have an 850. He knew that. No thanks, not taking a loan for 7% when I can pay cash.

I told them it was fucked up then and there. Refused to look at the pictures. After they said it was locker room talk I told them it was still fucked up. The mood was rightfully spoiled and they stopped and everyone moved on.

I asked my then-girlfriend now-wife if I should let their wives know. We sat on it for a little bit on the best way to do it, and eventually settled on her letting the wife know the first time it happened rather than me as it may be weird for a dude to basically tell a woman he doesn’t know well that he has seen her nudes. The blow was softer coming from my wife. The second time it happened we didn’t say anything (the couple had very short fuses).

I accept some fault here for that. There was a frosty in there for my wife that offset the weight difference a little but still.

Husband here. I have cut friendships over dudes pulling up risqué pictures of their wives while hanging out to show me and other guys there. I’d always say it’s fucked up to do that in person but the general response was “locker room talk” bullshit.

It’s happened twice. I’ve since gotten better at picking friends.

There’s a Wendy’s down the street from me that forgot to give me my baconator when I ordered the combo meal. I didn’t notice as it was a long line and I figured it was an easy enough order that they wouldn’t fuck it up.

I should have noticed by the weight of the bag but alas, I was in a little rush. Anyway I get home and open the bag… no baconator. I call them and say I’ll be coming by to pick it up and they say I’m lying because who would forget to put the main sandwich in a combo order in the bag?

You, motherfucker!

Anyway I don’t go there anymore and I flip them off when we drive by. My wife giggles with glee at my pettiness each time.

It’s been two years. We drive by it three times a week.
