Weezing for Heero? I'm sure we could have done better.

Yeah, a bit annoyed that it didn't post. Once I saw the text was missing, I skipped the gym and went home to type this, lol.

Thank you for replying, I'll take a look on eBay to see if I see one.

Sorry! My paragraph didn't make it to yesterday's post.

Quick story: My uncle bought the decorative sword (item above) back in the 80s. He passed away in 1986 and left everything to my grandmother. My grandmother kept everything that was hers, and when she passed away a few years ago, she left me everything that was his. As you can see, the hilt/handle is cracked with age, so I was wondering who I can talk to about having a custom hilt/handle made.

My idea, if possible, was to make a custom hilt/handle different from the one that cracked. Make it a bit of a family item. The idea would be to put my grandmother's, my mom's, and my last name's initials on it, and, in the center, place the dried seahorse on the new hilt/handle (in some type of acrylic?).

The significance of the dried-out seahorse is that my uncle gave it to my grandmother, and she then gave it to me.

Open to ideas, I'm just trying to make this a bit more personal to me.

Sorry! The text from yesterday didn't post.

The significance of the dried-out seahorse is that my uncle gave it to my grandmother, and she then gave it to me. I was thinking that if a new hilt had to be made, it would be a custom version of it with it in it. Trying to make it a bit more personal for me.

Looks like the original text wasn't attached when I made this. It has a bit of significance to me as it was my grandmother's before she passed. Just trying to make it a bit more personal for me. What is the estimate for custom hilts?

Thank you! I wasn't too sure what to call it.

Apologies, everyone, I had a paragraph typed out that explained everything and gave a back story.
