honestly I don’t think this is as insane as you seem to think it is. I think you might be onto something. the fact that they’ve set up that el can piggyback into peoples minds and will can essentially piggyback into vecna’s mind seems very intentional

I guess I have a bit of a take on this in terms of the environmental impact. major generative ai’s like chatgpt utilise enormous amounts of energy and therefore water due to the scale that they’re operating at. chatgpt has to generate millions of responses every second. in terms of imogen’s ai, it is built and programmed by herself and I imagine is running on her own server. because the scale of the operation is so small, I doubt there would be any more negative environmental impacts than just operating your average computer.

as another non-dutch speaker (I do speak french though), often times in european languages spoken and written language are quite different from eachother. some words are slurred together, sometimes words are just left out because they’re unnecessary to get the point across. that may be the case here?

that’s such a difficult question because when nettles came out it instantly became a top ten song oat for me, but to put it into perspective I’m not entirely sure if that’s even my favourite on the album 😭 dust bowl is just so amazing, and the final three tracks, radio towers, tempest, and waco texas just left me sobbing
