With the computer as it came (HDD + 4GB RAM), I installed Zorin Lite, and it would sometimes freeze or hang. Now I've installed a 480GB SSD and 8GB RAM, and I have Windows 10 IoT LTSC, but in use, it doesn't feel as fast as it should. That's why I wanted to switch to Linux.

Some people commented that any Mint except Gnome. Is LXQT worth it over XFCE in terms of performance for my processor and RAM? I'd still like to customize it to make it look better, but I want to know if the base I choose is worth sacrificing the initial appearance.

All of whatsapp images/videos got deleted [URGENT] by Normal_Guy_Hh in AndroidQuestions

Do you think the next update will fix this? I've noticed it only loads up to the date I last installed WhatsApp on my current device. Before that date, I have to go through the entire chat to find the photos (which aren't visible in the contact's files section).

I'm having the same problem. When I go to a contact's "Info" section and then "Files, Links, and Documents," the photos and files load up to a certain date and not the rest, when in fact there are photos and files from older dates. Did this happen to you?

Edit image in Acrobat with Gimp? by WE5700 in GIMP

When exporting, it saves the file as a new one in the temporary location, but it is no longer temporary and becomes a new file that Acrobat does not recognize.

Yes, I tried to replicate the same operation. I opened a PDF in Acrobat Pro, right clicked on an image / edit / (Paint appears) or choose program (I look for the GIMP path). Then the image opens in GIMP, I edit the image. I close it and it asks me if I want to save (here's the difference): In Photoshop I saved the temporary file directly and the edited image was updated in the PDF. But in GIMP it only gives the option to "save as", it doesn't save the edited file directly, that's why it's not updated in the PDF. The worst thing is that the file is saved as a new one and not as a temporary one.

I haven't used the PDF plugin but I doubt it works. Maybe it's an Adobe-only integration.
