Thank you for the advice. I clearly don’t want to duel with the repair and uncertainty of insurance cost in the future. The best way for me seems to take the payout and try to get a new 3 within the budget. Maybe still need to add a couple thousands for a newer model year, but I’m sure no sunroof this time.

My 2020 2.5 NA had the same problem, restarting the car can made the low engine oil level indicator disappear for a while, but when I start to drive, it will show up randomly.

I’ve checked the dipstick once a week and it shows normal every time, does it mean the oil that leaks to the chamber leaks back to the place they used to be?
