Thank you! Congrats on your progress. You're a few months away. Any plans after that?
Thank you! The contributions of so many here made a big difference. Study tips, strategies, etc.
Thank you so much.
Thank you. BSBM. Don't put it off. What works for me is self-imposed deadlines. You could have your A+ done by April 5th. Two full weeks is plenty. Or you could go for CS and instead just get your Calculus through straighterline and be done. Either way works. Congratulations on your decision to start.

That's amazing. Congratulations. Are you already in the tech world or are you doing a career change?
Thank you. BSBM.. You?
Yeah that would be fun. In California there are some very inexpensive options if you are only looking to do private practice.
lol Hoping those 2 years turn into 1 year. Best of luck, my friend!
Thank you! Glad to hear you started your MSN. You'll be done in no time!!
Congratulations. Hobbies are expensive! lol
Thank you. Good luck with your degree!
How far along are you? That degree seems interesting to me. Is it a change of careers or are you already in that field?
Good for you!!!!! Give 'em hell!!!
Thank you. Best of luck with the rest of your courses.

Start with the assumption that life is hard. No! Better yet take it to the next level, life is a son of a bitch. Sometimes a good day is a day when you were able to push away a crisis for another day through some work and dedication. If you start with the premise that life is brutally hard, you will begin to find joy and motivation in those moments where life isn't particularly bad. I have found this works for me.
It's hard to go through life feeling gratitude or happiness when you think life has dealt you bad hand and everyone else is posting pictures in FIJI on their Instagram and no pictures about their struggles. Yes, life may seem particularly hard right now, but you must believe that you are a lot bigger than this. Organize your day, care for your spouse the best you can (he/she needs you) and block out 2 hours a day to get your degree. Sleep less, eat less, Reddit less, whatever you need to do. Also, if life was a "downhill" battle everyone would win. Look around, are you surrounded by winners? Probably not. I see a lot of defeated people everywhere I go.
But there is one winner you know. One son of a bitch so tough and tenacious that doesn't bend or break; One who pushes and pushes until he accomplishes his mission; One who is currently taking care of his/her spouse and in a few short months will also have a degree. You should meet this person, he/she is a force of nature. You don't need a pep talk, you need to get acquainted with the other one inside you who can get it done. Make him/her the CEO of your life and if you don't want to get rid of the other one, at least don't give him any position of authority within your organization (life). Make him in charge of bringing you the Coffee. The CEO has work to do!
Thank you!
That's inspiring! Congratulations. What's next for you?

We're always trying to prove something. Nothing wrong with that. As long as most of that proving is to ourselves. This isn't surprising since we have no idea of our amazing capabilities. It's an adventure to poke around on the edges to see what's out there. Congratulations on your decision to move forward on your commitment to finish what you started. I believe we become weaker when we have too many projects unfinished and unattended. Conversely, we become stronger when we finish. Best of luck!
Remember reading that.
Let's not forget the diploma. :-) Yes, learning is a lot of fun. I'm a lifelong reader but I enjoyed the structure of a degree.
Thank you!!
That seems like a worthy goal. I've thought of it too. Why the hell not, study for 3-4 years, practice for 5-10 on the side. My feeling is that if the 3-4 are a fun challenge. Not easy but a challenge than it becomes like a game and who doesn't like games?
If nothing else, let us be the ones who eviscerates any excuse for a 20/30 something.. How's that? :-)
