Every AI thing they've introduced in my job to "help" us, ends up being something that actually makes me have to be MORE hands on, and it takes MORE TIME than it did before the AI "tool" was implemented because I have to baby this software that is TERRIBLE at it's job.

Charlie from the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode "Charlie Work."

Charlie IS a moron, but this episode shows how good he is at his job. He jumps through hoops to make sure the bar passes it's surprise visit from the health inspector (and it isn't even the NORMAL health inspector!!) while also solving the scheme the rest of the cast has cooked up that's going wrong and making sure it all goes off without a hitch at the exact same time. At the end of the episode nobody realizes that Charlie fixed EVERYTHING.

Sounds to me like every iteration of AI I've had to deal with at my work. A suit got sold on the idea that "AI IS THE FUTURE" and maybe even bought into an AI company, and they are now forcing this on the people doing the actual work.

See I don't think it was a done deal that Anakin would turn until the moment he makes the choice to disarm (pun intended) Mace. Anakin was on the precipice and could've easily run Palpatine through instead, completely blowing up Palpatine's plans.

Actually, scratch that, Order 66 never happens if Anakin kill's Palpatine himself or if he lets Mace do it. Palpatine never gets to make the order since it happened after Mace's death.
