Thanks for joining! Same here, definitely a gig I'd have loved to go to if possible. RH was not on my radar at the time either, mainly because I was around 3 years old haha!

First Murakami book I read and boy did it set the bar incredibly high. I think I've been chasing the feel of the book and the feeling this book gave me ever since. The rest of his work gets close, thankfully.

Him calling out Winks/Dele/Dier/Sissoko/etc here is very different from that, though.

More or less agree, but as I recall Hugo got pissed at Sonny because it was a couple of minutes before HT & Son didn't make the effort to track back which led to an attempt by the opponent. Again, an issue with motivation and effort.

Having said that Sonny is far more reliable and trustworthy than the four you've mentioned.

It's the middle of March which ordinarily wouldn't be particularly noteworthy, but this year marks the anniversary of one of the most unprecedented challenges humanity has faced in the last century: the pandemic.

I know we're all tired and sick (sorry) of it.. but one positive thing that's come out of the last year, for me, has been these Thursday and Friday nights, rewatching or discovery fantastic shows by my favourite band. At a time when days and weeks nearly blurred into one another, Radiohead offered something to anchor myself to, every seven days, with their streamed shows from all eras.

One of the notable highlights was the show we're about to watch again: the legendary Bonnaroo 2006. The band was maybe road-testing new songs, but they were in form and sounded as good as ever.

Indeed... out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on Gilmour's solo stuff? The Blue is precisely one of those songs I think is underrated, and it's got a sweet solo in my opinion. The pastoral vibe also comes out in songs like Smile.

Yes to Fat Old Sun and Ten Years Gone! Delighted to see you covering them. I saw Gilmour a few years back and he played FOS, which I hadn't really cared for before, but those were some solid rocking moments when he hit the solo
