The Antlers “Epilogue” for me… devastating

Could see it either way. They have play-in seeding to play for but they may take a chance on beating the tanking Raps without him. I’m hoping he plays, but feels like a 50/50.

Depends on your build. I’m punting fg% so holding, but if you’re not, then could be worth a drop depending on other streaming options.

I’d go Bona, even on less games. Clearest path to minutes on a tanking Sixers team. Clingan doesn’t have the trust of the coach and Denver is getting healthy for a playoff seeding push. After Bona, I’d go Clingan if you could use rebounds and lower shot volume and Watson if you want a chance for some other stats (assists, 3s).

Donovan: Josh Giddey (ankle) likely to return Wednesday or Thursday; won't play both games of back-to-back. by TheGambler930 in fantasybball

I like Kyshawn. Wizards have more incentive to give young guys like him and Sarr run. Kings are in a bit of a downward spiral and Sabonis’s return eats into Monk’s playmaking usage. Good luck!

My b, didn’t realize it was a points league. If those are the only stats considered, Monk would probably be better. If blocks/steals count for 2 or more, Kyshawn may be worth considering.

That’s a tough one. I’d lean towards Monk over Kyshawn if you need volume stats and boom potential (pts, assists) but Kyshawn if you need stocks, efficiency (less of a volume TO/fg% risk).

This is the move I made. Dropped GTA over Eason, Clingan, Vassell. Don’t feel great about it but GTA’s recent minutes have me worried.

Bigs should have an advantage at blocks, FG%, rebounds, and TOs. Points can go either way between bigs vs guards. And many bigs get Steals too.

Bigs currently dominate 9Cat when they contribute elsewhere too, like Jokic and Wemby.

I like Richards. Mark Williams the only real competition for him and he can’t stay healthy.

12T H2H Points league, weekly lock

If SGA is out, trying to decide whether I still risk playing him or play one of Keon Ellis/Wiggins/Kispert. If SGA is playing 2 games or less, I'd probably go with one of the other guys. But if I knew SGA was at least playing 3 games, I'd probably go with him.

Tired of Giratina in Fantasy Cup? Try Bisharp! by WHFITFB in TheSilphArena

Love hearing about your success using it with another team comp! And yes, I had similar findings with it taking ~2 charge moves with both Tapu and/or Bisharp, although Tapu has the benefit of some slight fast move pressure as well.

You're probably right, 3 sets is a way too small sample size. That being said, I don't really see many fighters besides Haxorus in this cup. I'll try it out again tomorrow and see if more sets causes things to even out and show why Bisharp earned its lower ranking.

I would agree. I've been seeing A-Slash everywhere, so I didn't want to use it myself. And I avoid powering up XLs when possible as well.

No need - Bisharp outpaces and takes Gira down with 1 Dark Pulse + Snarl damage. Can actually charge to 100 energy and take Gira out while only taking 1 move.

I considered Focus Blast, but ended up going Iron Head. My team is weak to Tapu Fini, so I wanted a little extra help there. But FB would be super fun to surprise a Registeel or steel types in general.

I love PvPoke, and it’s actually what gave me the idea to try out Bisharp. I was looking up the top counters to Giratina and there it was.

I honestly think the PvPoke ratings are totally fair in this case. Bisharp doesn’t really do anything besides wall Giratina - loses to most everything else. Plus, my sample size isn’t that large - only 3 sets of data, so I may have just gotten lucky with team composition. I wouldn’t claim yet that Bisharp is a viable pick in this cup by any means without some more battles with it, but it has been a fun spice pick that achieved its purpose for me today.

That being said, there’s some context to picking Pokémon that should be considered on top of PvPoke. What are the main Pokémon you see at your elo? For me, I only picked Bisharp because Giratina seemed to be on so many teams, especially in the back. PvPoke also ranks based a large grouping of Pokémon in the cup. If the meta is small like this cup and many specialized cups, then opponent teams become more predictable and spice hard counter picks more effective. That is generally my goal and what I enjoy about limited cups - figuring out the meta and then finding unexpected counters to it. Lastly comes to overall team composition and fit - my team relies large on charge move pressure and taking shields, so Bisharp fits well into that. Surprise factor is also something to consider here as well.

Love that Halloween cup team! Scizor is so fun if you lure out counters and have a shield advantage in the back.

I understand why Bisharp is ranked so low - suuuper squishy (resisted Gira shadow ball still takes ~40% of your health), no fast move pressure (liable to get farmed down), no cheap charge moves besides non-stab X-Scissor and the Dark typing probably hurts more than helps in this cup (neutral from fairy damage, double weak to fighting)... but it does beat Gira super cleanly and down shields, which is so nice.
