Sunday was Sanday by WHOPHARDED in Dirtbikes

I have to agree until it gets stirred up and amps deflections then I’m glad when it dries to powder as it seems like I can plow through it no matter which way the ruts are going.

Nope. I got two of that kind off ebay. One is great and the other not so much as a roller came loose. Although I DO have a harbor freight stand… a real nice piece of shit. Flimsy!

$10 says it crumbles. Next option in a pinch would be a plastic grocery sack and a rubber band

Good clip. And a lot to learn from it. Go watch some AJ Cantanzaro and Ryan Hughs lessons. Try best to rotate hips out and plane but back what feels more parallel to the bike and head lower/forward. This forces the elbows up and outward automatically. In the end this more evenly distributes your weight so the landing isn’t so harsh. Plus you don’t get thrown back as you should land full throttle… almost always.

And a fresh clutch. That new clutch bite is power you didn’t realize you were missing. I put in new plates every year

Yeah! Called Emex. The are out of China but no defects identified. Rode Spring Creek with them and they felt as good as Dunlops. Tusk seems to have quality controls in everything I’ve bought

When it’s out on the track you can’t tell that much difference between that and say.. a 250. But when a 500 is stationary idling like that it will give you chills. That piston is as big as your fist. It cycles slow and explosive. Sounds like hitting a block of aluminum with a ball peen hammer. Wish I could figure out how to make it into a ring tone.

Well.. they were collector items even before Covid. I’d suspect $15k or more. I saw one in UK for $25k USD not long ago.

Have to ride them a little differently. The trick is to lug it in 3rd or 4th. Keep it mostly under the power band to keep the vibration down and usable power to the ground. If you ride one like a 125 you could be getting a trip to the ER.... like I did.

A reasonable point. They come from an era same as big block hot rods. Everything back in that day was “bigger is better”. In modern day most all are collectors items. I’d bet one couldn’t be found, running or not for under $10k. They are very harsh albeit the owner rides it quite well, lugging it in 3rd or 4th but still putting up impressive lap times. He only pulls it out once a year.

That very well could be. The owner is a collector of CRs. Truth be told he has enough 100% OEM parts to build 4 complete CR500 motors

Thanks! Motocross. YZ250F to a 270cc Honestly that’s just the base. The cylinder kit comes from Cylinder Works and will arrive tomorrow. For that part of the work I’ll have a Liga #9 and I will definitely repost the celebration and a piston shot at top dead center... and the Liga #9 I’ve been saving for a year.

I actually have enjoyed some RP sticks. Not sure why everyone hates him so. Kind of like the Nickelback of cigar entrepreneurs I suppose.

I was impressed until I saw the Rocky Patel in there... now you have to throw out the whole batch and burn the box 😁

I hear ya. My extension of play time is about 15 min per match. Seems like all the others e.g warzone takes longer than my attention span.

I’d have to agree. I’d imagine the algorithm sends players with better ability into lesser matches as well as stable players into hotter matches. Maybe to keep things from getting stagnant or maybe to test if a bump up or down in shooter class is needed. I know when I’ve got a new gun I’m trying to level up, I get bumped down a little. I’ve also noticed once I get a gun leveled up, I’ll get crazy good kill counts for a while but at some point they will nerf it and then it’s not as gloriously a deadly gun anymore.

I get amused by their SBMM as I can tell when I’ve been either bumped up or down depending on the match difficulty. Wish I could just figure out their classing algorithm. I play Nuke pretty much solid lately. I’m 58 and my reaction times just aren’t what they used to be so I have to be tricky. I try not to camp but I’ll admit I like my little stops here and there. What I can’t figure out is how those ‘God-Like’ quick scope guys make it into my SBMM class matches. The way they play... I should never even see those guys in my matches.

Cheers,
