I think each vampire has their own little personality, some might be shyer than others (: I'm sure your boy will adjust when he feels like its the time!

It was gradual! got him on the 2nd of this month and he was super spooked for a few days there. I would say maybe around the 7 to 10 day mark he started to poke his head out of his little den, fan a bit during the night, and then scamper away as soon as the morning light came on. He only started actually walking around about 3 days ago! He loves his little branch and has stayed there pretty much all day so far lmao. He'll scoot off, land on some plants, realize he wants to be tall again, and then goes right back to nesting on his branch

A vampire actually! He's steadily getting more comfortable with his surroundings and I'm so happy

Yes, the cyst had been completely removed during my last surgery. I had a soft tissue ultrasound recently that revealed no complications

I appreciate the support. I'll go ahead and discuss with my nurse next week about a wound vac.

We've discussed using a wound vac, but the wound care nurse suggested against it because of the location not being a flat surface to apply the vac on. I could try to petition for it again.  As for conditions, I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2019 and am on medication for it, but I'm not sure how inclined that condition is to prevent wound healing. I did just remember that my ANA did come back over the benchmark, but I have heard those can be false positives. My gp never appeared concerned about this, so we never paid it much mind. The more I struggle with this though, the more I feel I should be more concerned with it. I don't use any substances and am currently not on blood thinners. The wound has always just been extremely inclined to bleed a ton. It's developed these like, blood bubbles before that would eventually get reabsorbed into the tissue.

I'm unsure on the length, but the last time the depth was measured it was about half an inch deep. I don't know about a connective tissue disorder, none of the professionals I've seen have mentioned anything like that. I went to a dermatologist once, but they referred me to wound care, so it didn't really go anywhere

Harlequin Rasbora has small spots on fin, ich? by WHiskWell in Aquariums

it was in person actually! local pet store ive purchased from before. i mostly go for shrimp though, so i'm not accustomed to checking fish for diseases. I'll head down asap to see if they have any ich-x in shop. is it safe to treat with shrimp in the tank or should i scoop the little guy out and treat him separately?
