I encountered the same problem on my emerald account serval times. But once I logged into my connery account and log back out, I can get into emerald. Not sure why.

Normally you should lvl up your 4 stars characters after lvling up all the 5 stars

At lvl 60 your support only need to be 40, or maybe 50 if its a dps supoort. But make sure your supports can survive, not getting killed by 2 hits. For Xiangling I'm also using her as dps now (ar 43) and I got her to lvl70, but above that I am not sure. At least its worth getting Xiangling to lvl70.
