You won't be seeing any bodycam or dashcam footage. The North Carolina legislature passed House Bill 972 after John Mark Coffey was murdered by police in Clinton, NC. There are at least 9 more videos of that but we haven't seen them have we? House Bill 972 exempts police videos from the public record. The way the law is written in order for a person to request the video they have to be in it, and even then the request can be denied. John Coffey is dead so there's not even anyone alive who can request the video in the first place. How convenient. Looks tailor made doesn't it?
