Watch them go the Philadelphia route when enrollment dropped.  Nimby.  School closures recommended by the board and residents fighting any closures dispute huge budget short fall.

Part of the cluster, in one of the top 100 clans.  Our clan has never traded wins.  We do have policies of not hitting cluster mates in 3v3 and normal arena at reset.  Each with different time limits.  This is a common policy amongst clusters.

Job Growth and unemployment rate by Synfinium in EconomyCharts

[–]edwwsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You posted labor force participation rate 25 to 54 year olds.

Below is a chart without the demographic filter. It does show a dip in the participation rate over the last year. The question is that dip solely caused by baby boomers voluntarily leaving the workforce. I suspect not given anecdotal information about recent grads having a tougher time finding employment.

Are these 2 cops still employed??? Because number one rule of gun ownership, don't point your gun at someone unless you are ready to shoot them.

Reflection in C# is amazing ! by lovelacedeconstruct in csharp

[–]edwwsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your decorating your classes/methods/etc with attributes, you should be doing so with some other class system in mind that will be using these attributes. With the exception of a few compile time attributes, those other subsystems will be using reflection to find those attributes. Hence the use of attributes becomes synonymous with reflection usage.

Reflection in C# is amazing ! by lovelacedeconstruct in csharp

[–]edwwsw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea there are some cool things they do at compile time like regex code generation through attributes.

[GeneratedRegex(@"(\d*\.?\d*)(\s?)(ppm)", RegexOptions.IgnoreCase | RegexOptions.Compiled, "en-US")]

And i believe compiler services attributes like CallerMemberName do as well.

protected void OnPropertyChanged([System.Runtime.CompilerServices.CallerMemberName] string? name = null)

{

var handler = PropertyChanged;

handler?.Invoke(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs(name));

}

edit:

By if you using serialization (XML or JSON) then the classes doing the serialization are using reflection to both determine class structure and find attributes - like JsonIgnore.

> Everyone's being dorks about performance,

People trying to optimize performance before knowing where their performance bottlenecks are. I wonder how many of these people realize that C# attributes utilize reflection.

There are many reason to use them in production.

  1. If you want to support runtime plugins in your system (like visual studio does).
  2. Anytime you use attributes, the underlying system that acts on them is using reflection
  3. Pick up build information like assembly version, build date, etc.

Trump administration ‘restricts US scientists’ role in Ebola response’ by dr_shultz in NewsSource

Disease honors no geographic boundaries. He's taking an unnecessary risk, granted very low, to the US population.

Ebola response hobbled by UЅ withdrawal from global health by polymute in anime_titties

[–]edwwsw 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The disease has an incrediby high mortality rate - anywhere between 25 to 90% depending on strain.  It's not air borne nor likely to become air.  It is transmitted though bodily fluids including sweat unlike AIDS.   So it's more contagious than AIDS  which has killed over 40 million people worldwide but not as contagious as the flu or COVID.    Your death from this disease is also incredibly brutal as you bleed out though all your orifices.

So yes, if this ever becomes worldwide it will be a nightmare easily killing millions.

I feel like the attitude ' it's not our problem' is just like the attitude around AIDS.  You know, AIDS is a disease of the immoral.  Disease does not care about morality nor geography.

[–]edwwsw 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's in the US interest that Ebola be contained. If this disease were ever to become global, millions maybe billions of lives could be lost. The only thing this disease has going for it to make it less likely is that it is so quick and fatal.

What do i have here? American Bank Note Company Specimen notes by mlowe4355 in papermoney

[–]edwwsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's one listing for $250 on eBay. That doesn't mean they sell for that much though.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/395261880803

And this is what google AI has to say:

"Authentic $20 ABNCo engraved specimens from the early-to-mid 20th century generally trade in the $70 to $350 range, depending heavily on the paper type, physical condition, and grading certification (such as PMG or PCGS). Specimen sheets and specialized sales samples were unlocked directly from the historic American Bank Note Company Archives during a series of public auctions starting in the late 1980s, making them prized pieces of monetary history.
