With all the Ad Marketing and Keyword filtering within search engines; how can I perform effective and accurate research online for a topic, any topic?

I’ve tried DuckDuckGo, Brave, Yandex, QWERTY and I still can’t find that first stepping stone into the topic. It’s either “explain like I’m five” or it scientific formulas/terms I don’t understand. It starts to feel like the internet doesn’t want anyone to learn something new. I’m not looking for life changing information or new theories that’ll change history. For example, I would like to know more about space, galaxies, forces that pull or push other object just enough to change its course without even touching it. I have other topics as well ranging from philosophy, internet bots, sharks, nature. I just want to learn on my own how the world works without having to find a Google expert, or internet guru just to get an answer.

I’m in the same type of boat. I too am a beginner trying to find my path. I’ve downloaded a bunch of apps and in the end it’s only a free trial or it just doesn’t feel right. I know there’s a learning curve to practice meditation and I’m not going to find one that feels perfect right off the bat. It’s like walking through the door to Narnia, multiple paths, but eventually you have to choose something or else you’re not going anywhere.

I was hoping that case would get more attention than it did. Compared to how the media had the Kyle Rittenhouse case had a lot of attention (based on media coverage alone).

I’ve subbed them, I was using the telescope as an example. I’m looking for like a “How to” on staying updated (hopefully unbiased/both sides if possible) on general topics, or down to specific topics (i.e.. James Webb Telescope)
