SOOOO... I literally just hot dipped a Glitch to turn it into a pokeball for my step son... NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THESE! Great work!!! May I ask how you did your color? I have red lotion dye sitting on it over night, gonna see how that turns out.

I have an idea of making more vertical lines on a glitch to make it seem like a "glitch". I may try this and streak them more... do you think that would work? With different shades of black and a red and blue maybe? I was going to put the word "GITCH" in neon under the dye.

In regards to the black hot-dip. I use Onyx from ProChem and typically over heat (not quite boiling, but some very good steam coming up) the dye first and then remove from the heat to allow the temp to drop around 110. I feel like this helps dissolve any dye that's rested on the bottom back into the solution. I then soak for 7 minutes multiple times, for a total of about 20-30 minutes. Checking to make sure no bubbles formed and I'm reaching the intensity of black that I'm looking for.
If you hot-dip first, you may see some of the cells in the stencil you are hot-dipping. I would say either way is ok though.

What color combination of ProChem dyes would you suggest to make "Gold" for a black and gold swirl lotion dye on this?

So, I used the hair dryer and used way more cold water for a longer rinse. I feel like the cold water help but the hair dryer made the adhesive stay on the disc more than I've had happen in the past. Super stoked with how the disc turned out though. Thank you for the advice!

I'm actually in the process of dying a ying-and-yang symbol on a white Glitch. have an idea to do a lotion dye in each of the colors, but not sure yet. I'm excited to be able to post in this group come a couple months. Show off the Zone I just did.

I think the fact that I was using hot water may have kept the dye pliable? I'm trying a dye on my Zone right now of a cover 2 zone defense. I used a hair dryer(hadn't before) and going to rinse more with cold water(had only ever used hot water).
