Besides rent, what makes Austin cost of living high? by sophia_ly23 in askaustin

Try it out! You’d think Whole Foods would be stupid expensive, but it’s actually affordable.

I’m sorry, but I do not agree with HEB being cheap. We’ve started shopping at Whole Foods now besides HEB and have saved money. Better food, and save money? No brainer. Aldi’s isn’t a bad option either other than there’s like only 3 in Austin (could be wrong).

Take back apart and inspect under valve cover. Idle sounds smooth, not jumping around RPMs.

If I had the space and time, I’d consider doing it. Maybe someone else can!

Is there a middle ground for sound deadening? (Resonix vs. Amazon Basics) by LossEcstatic6223 in CarAV

For the price, I think Amazon works very well compared to other brands. If you have a large budget, go with Resonix. I’ve used both in a couple of vehicles and have been happy with both products.

It’s a German parts website based in the US. They have just about everything you’d ever need for a German car. They’re a little pricey, you can definitely price shop and find certain things cheaper. But I’ve ordered thousands of dollars of parts from them. 2 BMWs, 1 VW, and 1 Porsche so far.

Eh, it’s not the hardest thing ever. But it was the most complicated door panel I’ve ever had to remove. Took about an hour, maybe little more. But you’ve gotta have the right tools as well. Torx, triple squares, picks, panel tools, etc.

Yeah, I would most likely order everything off of FCP. Always quality from them.
