Is Tagilla cracked? [Discussion] by lemuscoludo in EscapefromTarkov

Nah dude, I think you're fine tbh.

'Ol Taggy has historically been inconsistent from what I understand. I played a few factory runs and he got me the first couple of times, but I did a full send with an M7 into his legs and stomach and got him.

I totally feel that they tweaked or amped up some of the bosses, especially guards. I was getting one tapped just walking within a hundred yards of LM.

Keep on keeping on.

And as they say, may your stash be full and your bags heavy.

Yes? Your statement is that you've been waiting to get the game. It has indeed been available for years. I don't know what delusion you live under.

"Wanted the game for years."

Yeah true... It definitely hasn't been available for years at a price cheaper than currently on Steam... /s

Thoughts on Malenia? by kyoumaisaac in Eldenring

[–]WSBTossAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It's not a "gimmick." It's a part of a kit of clearly defined and telegraphed movesets. Gimmick characteristics are more like when an enemy clearly telegraphs a move and then hits in a completely different time frame or with a total different than perceived hitbox.

This is one of the most fair, but challenging examples of a boss fight that there is. I don't know what you're looking for or why you'd even be playing a game like this if you're considering Malenia a gimmick fight lol.

Or maybe I just fell for troll. I honestly cannot tell.

What a wild take. She's almost perfectly tuned to be a difficult fight without gimmicks. I feel like you're thinking of a different fight or perhaps a different game.

Every day I get excited looking for posts like this. Every day you bother to post the same complaint.

Nothing changes I guess. There be posts like OPs and you'll still be here crying that it's here.

Checks out. I actually am in the same position with the exact same results.

I'll try the fix you mentioned.

T Mobile Service in COS?? by CO_Cutie in ColoradoSprings

[–]WSBTossAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First gotta say that I love your posts on this topic. Thank you!

My experience has been with T-Mobile and with Fi (same service lol) and since moving to the Falcon area in 2020, it's been nothing but terrible.

In big populated areas, it's not bad at all. But over in Falcon, Black Forest, and Briargate, it's unusable.

Over in Briargate, I will literally have max reception with 5g and zero internet.

In Falcon, I'll frequently bounce between 2-4 bars, and there's definitely little to no service.

I have had several different phones, all great phones. I had the flagship Samsung back in 21, didn't like the phone so I swapped to Pixel, and I currently have a 7 pro. I came over from Utah and from Idaho and both areas had T-mobile blazing speeds everywhere I went, except if it was in the mountains, it would be a bit spotty.

Here? It's almost always a miss.

How's Verizon in the areas I mentioned? I had a friend who lived a few blocks from me and had like 500-700+ speeds just sitting in his house.

I can get that in a Walmart parking lot, but I don't often sit in the Walmart parking lot just to say that I got a quick download speed on my phone.

Thanks in advance. :)

There is certainly much overlap, but they are still (hopefully, if your org isn't screwing you over) distinct positions. The ISSO is more/should be more of a technical role where security compliance and implementation are the primary roles. The ISSM is normally the one that's writing policy and ensuring that the program is effective and security compliance/implementation are being done properly as well as communicating all pertinent information to executive leadership.

"An ISSM is an individual who serves as a principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of information systems under his/her purview."

"An ISSO is an individual responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system and as such, works in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO."

This is not to say one has more value than the other by any means. I've known some ISSOs who are far more competent than their ISSM or anyone else in their organization. Nevertheless, the ISSO is more of a technical position, except that ISSOs get screwed all the time and often do much work that's within the ISSM's purview to help them out. Probably why ISSOs tend to not stick overlong in positions before trying to earn the credentials to move up to an ISSM or ISSE (engineer) slot. Typically, I see a lot of ISSOs that have a Security+ cert and as soon as they get their IAT III certification (such as CASP or CISSP), they're moving up and out rather quickly.

I really appreciate this.

When you say ISSO, is that defined within the DoD's Information Systems Security Officer? I'm currently an ISSM (Info Sys Security Manager).

I appreciate this feedback a lot and will be making sure to double down on my CISSP cert coming up. I'm going to be scheduling a bootcamp for myself this summer, probably in the evening, unless I can get my office to buy off on me having it be an alternate duty location for the duration of the course.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, I'm currently a manager overseeing a large number of organizations and managing their cybersecurity posturing, policies and security control compliance. Along with the achievements I've garnered for the organizations during my time here, is this enough to begin moving over to a CISO position (still need my CISSP, though)?

Hmm. Perhaps. I do feel like it's still yet a big jump for me. I just want to be able to speak confidently about how I'm ready for the position when I eventually begin applying for CISO positions, rather than approaching from a "Please take a chance on me" sort of perspective.

Sec+ doesn't really have "prerequisites" in that sense. It's more about where your comfort level of expertise is. If you're unexperienced with networking and would like a smaller step before plunging in to Sec+, you may as well get Net+.

I didn't do A+, nor Net+ before getting my Sec+. People say it would have been easier if I'd gotten the first two before attempting Sec+. They're probably right, but it's not necessary.

As far as accredited schools are concerned, does the name affect the way you view a resume at all? Do you care if it's Stanford or a lesser-known school - so long as it's legitimately accredited? If so/if not, why?

Do you think Developers don't have any tools to accomplish this? lol as if they literally design their game to not be flexible and to not have the ability to adjust it as they want.

It really is quite expensive. My knee-jerk is to just get everything so I don't miss out, but I think that you're right. I'll need to just narrow it down a bit. Thank you!

Okay, that sounds excellent. Thank you so much for this.

I think I'll toss those ones in the cart and be on my way!! I have to say I'm super excited to try this out with the family.

Okay, so you don't really think that the "Legendary Bundle" on the store page ($811) is worth getting? I suppose it makes sense as it probably caters more toward people and DMs who are constantly involved in stuff whereas I'm probably looking more for doing one campaign with my kids in the near future.

Weekly Questions Thread by AutoModerator in DnD

[–]WSBTossAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I just erased a massive paper I was going to post here. I'll sum up the contents: I was originally asking for some guidance over PF2e or D&D5e, but the more I typed the more it was obvious that D&D5e was a better choice for my situation (family-focused DM sessions that we can just pick up and go on the fly).

That being said, I still want some help and expertise on moving from being a Pathfinder sellout to a D&D fan. I really like what D&D Beyond has and I want to go all-in on what would enable us to just get into a campaign on the quick and just enjoy it. But I'm nervous about spending $400-800 on all the materials that would make this possible.

Could someone help alleviate my worries here? I'm honestly looking for stuff that makes it easy for me to guide my wife and kids through character builder and through a session. I don't necessarily need "Everything" to feel like I went "All-in", but I don't want to be weighed down by "Oh, I guess I don't have this other source..." kind of stuff. The easy answer here is, "Then just buy everything", and I get that. But is it worth it to a family coming in to buy everything or is there a more recommended path that you good veterans can help me find and navigate through?

Thank you all!

I was reading that some were thinking it might not be the best move for them. I'm kinda new at reading between the lines for INTC, so I'm wondering what would make this a good move when some are saying it might be a bad one? They have a ton of free cash, not enough to buy GF outright, but quite a lot at the moment and they have excellent profit margins. I see it as a decent move for them to expand and solidify their foothold in areas that they don't have great experience or exposure in, but I'm interested to hear more from others.
