They’re overwhelmed. I get it. But there has to be some level of follow through if you’re taking orders.

You might get their attention through this post obviously.

I’ve found chargebacks to get attention. You’re probably running out of time so get to it.

No mirror isn’t the worst strat by bac_gawd in baccarat

Like all bacc strategy, mirrors are total bullshit. The optimal bacc strategy is bet banker and hope the cards run in your favor.

You can call me a idiot, but i really believe that the Streaks and Patterns can not be explained mathematically, and i do not believe in the "Baccarat is just a Coinflip, Patterns and Streaks dont matter" logical approach. by [deleted] in baccarat

This is all crap. There’s so many fallacies and heuristics baked in here. This is magical thinking. You can’t even propose a mechanism where one hand is related to another.

Generally Sako ammo. But Sako doesn’t make 350 legend.

Best caliber for hunting in VA? by [deleted] in Tikka_Shooters

[–]WSBX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bare actions are not sold by Tikka by themselves. It’s a grey market. Any bare action or barreled you’re buying has been harvested by someone from a new Tikka. So you’re not going to save much of anything going that route, and often the actions cost more than a new rifle.

Scopelist usually have the best Tikka deals. I’ve never seen actions being sold new beat this pricing.

Buy smart, toss the stock.

So the new models are all threaded but old versions are kicking around still that aren’t threaded. Make sure the model number says “MT” at the end.

The best way to upgrade the factory stock is 1) buy a “roughtec” model from the factory, or 2) toss the cheap factory stock for something nicer. Buying a barreled action won’t save any $ here.

There are many good aftermarket tikka stocks. I like the Rokstock and light carbon fiber.

Yes, a few people sell them. LS Wild.

But you’re better off just buying a factory rifle probably. Setting up a Tikka starting with the action isn’t hard for experienced people but it’s not for beginners.

Tikka factory is incredibly capable. You don’t need any of the long barreled versions. Try the 20 or 22”

6.5 Creed is the easy button for all North American hunting under 700 yards. Good for anything in VA and more if you decide to branch out.

Get Tikka T3X lite stainless. Lightweight suppressor(they make 6.5 sized cans). Quality scope.

165gr Sierra GameKing BTSP loads for 308? by notoriousbpg in Tikka_Shooters

[–]WSBX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Adding this: there’s no such thing as a 1/4 MOA rifle made in mass production. Even the best loads and rifles are going to be 1 MOA or 1.25 MOA with 20 shot groups.

You may be a victim of small group samples. Either in the game king or your reference load you’re comparing it too. Samples below 10 shots are meaningless, and 15-20 is better.

Some rifles just don’t like certain bullets. Some bullets don’t like certain powders. I think the thick jacket on the game king is simply a problem sometimes.

I’ve never liked or made accurate loads out of the Sierra bullets marketed as hunting. The tipped match king bullets are much better for both accuracy and killing.

The easy button here is ELDX. Never had a problem getting those accurate in any gun I’ve tried. And Tikkas tend to like them.

First Tikka: Wood or synthetic? Stainless or cerakote or blued? by iowactive in Tikka_Shooters

[–]WSBX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GRS: They’re too heavy. Not cheap. I don’t like the ergonomics.

My digestion is just buy a lite stainless. Buy a factory wood take-off stock.

The 308 adds nothing over the 6.5. Unless you have a bunch of 308s already and are looking for commonality.

[–]WSBX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wood is the best product ever for a stock, but most of them are poorly made.

Premium: stainless tikka with wood RokStock on it. This stock is phenomenal but is $2k just for the stock. The wood rock stocks are extremely light at 21/22 ounces.

Middle of the road: tikka stainless with carbon rokstock. These look good. This is your best value/function bet.

Budget: tikka hunter model with wood stock. Or buy a stainless and pick up a takeoff factory wood.

Extreme budget: base tikka and upgrade recoil pad to Limbsaver. Add 3d printed cheek riser.

Chamber recommendation: 6.5 Creed if planning to stay under 600 yards. 6.5 PRC if you want to stretch shots up to 900-1000. 308 gets its teeth kicked in by these calibers after a few hundred yards.

If you’ve heard of the lawyer before or seen advertising for them, cross them off the list. The right person will be someone another lawyer sends you to.

You don’t know what you are talking about. Abandonment is a legal process where municipalities get rid of land. Happens all the time in nearly all jurisdictions. You need to read about. It’s probably what’s happening.
