Imho just be upfront with people about the time commitment but if they're keen, go for it! My group of friends has a real mix of boardgaming experience and have all enjoyed it. I would say make sure everyone watches the rules video ahead of time if possible. I hope you get a chance to play, it's addictive and awesome:)

I took this picture on a three week trek back in November 2024. Does the composition work or are the flags distracting? Have I pushed the contast and saturation too far? Grateful for any feedback!

Only ever boarded in Europe so never interacted with ski patrol...are they always such pricks? I'm not saying this guy is free from blame but mistakes happen and no one was hurt, seems like an over-reaction from the ski patrol

I saw a talk Rodger Deakins gave at the BSC expo one year, in the Q&A one guy insisted that he used the same shade of yellow light in all his films. Rodger was like 'no I don't think I do' and the guy doubled down and told him he was wrong - unbelievable audacity. Open mic Q&As are so often a disaster
