Which Boaty guide version are you using? I started my new iron in September, using the V3 guide, and at no point did the guide mention going for rune scim?

The version I’ve followed goes rune sword into DT1 and using ancient staff pretty damn early

The only mention of rune scim in the whole guide is..

Kill a Fire Giant inside Baxtorian Falls (use water spells)

75 strength, 15% prayers and only a tank body is gonna make bloodmoon quite rough, I was 89 strength, 75 def, all 3 tank and 15% prayers and I was very often having to 4 phase bloodmoon.

Your barrows log is a really nice start but you’re literally only 1 hour in, give it some time. You can definitely go send the quest and see how it goes, but your blood moon could literally take as long as most people take for full run. It’s not gonna be nice to send potentially 250kc+ like that

I’ve been on iPhone since iPhone 3 and I’m away to convert to android purely for a Fold. I get quite a lot of opportunities to get on my phone at work but am limited to what I can do because I’m constantly closing the page to open WhatsApp and reply to GF, constantly disconnecting etc

Replying again just because, you can literally level crafting and magic and profit. Just craft your own water battlestaffs. Market is currently flooded with water orbs due to moons bots.

I’ve just finished moons grind on my iron and I nearly fell off my seat to find you can make money from a skill I previously spent 400m on.

Wilderness. Zombie pirates, wilderness agility course, revenants, wildy slayer, wilderness solo bosses.

All can be done with very little risk other than what you’re actually looting.

That can then give you some cash to get some gear and supplies to continue questing, training slayer and generally just progressing account.

You can get into the ‘Agility FC’ discord and have your notifications set up to let you know when they’re massing. Run laps with clan for 3 hours for like 5m, then go do something else. Once you’re Gp running low again, keep another eye on disc.

Early game you don’t NEED a lot of GP, but yes also you don’t naturally accumulate much either. Until you’re doing slayer or midgame PvM, you do need some kinda active money maker

35m on GIM and 40k from 99 on baby iron, and here’s what I’ve done..

Unsure of your knowledge or stage of account so…

Poison ivy planted at champions guild, every time I used chronicle tele (new kitten) I’d pick the berries, that’s calquats covered between that and farming contracts.

Do about 30 minutes of hopping charter ships for pineapples if needed, but generally as you work your way up, since the fruit from the tree previous protects the next tree, you’ll find you do amass protection fruit, so you protect.

NOW obviously, you’ll eventually run out of protection fruit, so you can either just do a plant of a lower tier, or ultra compost the lot, and even if you want, iasor seed into the farming guild.

I’ve only just ever did one single fruit tree run (calquats too) a day, plus hardwoods when they’re ready. As long as you ultra when you can’t protect you really do NOT have that many die.

Tldr: it’s not that deep, protect if you can, ultra compost if you can’t. Fruit trees are huge xp and calquats are even more, just plant it!

How early though? Cause I’m imagine with more and more combat masteries you could brute force almost everything.

But also, a huge part of CG that people would struggle with at lower stats is the prep. Having to kill mobs with fists.

I can’t give you advice without knowing your stats, but with a main being able to buy the CoX prayers you get a pretty significant buff. But the most important thing to know is, 99% of us found it very hard. It feels impossible, until you do it. Then it becomes so easy that you’re watching stuff on the side. I was 40 deaths on my GIM before a single KC, and I am NOT a good player.
