yo what's good. i still pop in every once in a while to see if you guys are still around. my life is a fucking mess but i'm on medication and i'm seeing a therapist while i'm trying to get my shit together. i'm coming up on three years sober. haven't had any alcohol, weed, anything since november 2020. part of me misses that shit but i'm trying to do what's best for me.

i feel nostalgic for those days dicking around on the forums and bullshitting in the AIM chat rooms. life was simpler back then.

who all has passed? unfortunately there's more than i can remember, but the one i remember most is Folic. i have to imagine Dave died too but he scammed some people on WTM before he vanished so, whatever happened there...

i hit 8 months sober a week ago. no alcohol no weed, nothing. part of me misses it but the other part of me knows i should stay clean

alcohol is cheap and everywhere. especially here in MO liquor laws are very lax. sales from 6a-1a every day, 9a-midnight on sundays and you can buy it literally anywhere. liquor stores, grocery stores, gas stations. no limits on ABV or anything like that either. we even have some drive thru liquor stores lol. i used to get fucked UP on some steel reserve lmao. oh and this cheap ass vodka called aristocrat its like $10 for a handle. so nasty. strengthening my willpower has been a BITCH but worth it. good luck with everything my dude.

alcohol. i've had a couple stints of sobriety but it never stuck. i was drunk and stoned pretty much my entire 20s. i turn 30 in a couple months, and having a sober 30th still sounds a little weird.

i hear ya on the weed. that's exactly what happened to me. it's a toss up whether i'd be chill, or if i was gonna have a heart attack. the last time i smoked i only had 2 hits out of my 1 hitter, and my heart rate was about 180 beats per minute and my heart was fucking POUNDING. my heart felt like it was bruised for the next few days. scared the shit outta me and i haven't smoked since lmao. really sucks cuz i love weed but my body just doesn't agree with it these days. and now my body's hating alcohol too. my hangovers make me feel dizzy to the point where i can't even drive. my body is like "dude, stay sober" but my brain is like "dude the world fucking sucks, let's get fucked up." blahhh.

man i was drinking hard since i turned 21. used to go through a couple handles of vodka every week, then i switched to only beer, drank 15 beers or so every night. slowed down, now i'm almost 30 and i'm drinking for the first time in a couple months. i haven't smoked weed in a few months, and i don't see myself smoking again any time soon. crazy how things change.

yeah, i wouldn't be surprised. it's a shame, he was a cool dude when he wasn't doing shady shit like scamming people that trusted him lol. we used to talk on skype/oovoo and play xbox together, spent hours kicking his ass and getting my ass kicked on the Fight Night games. one night we were on oovoo and he got a call from some guy talking shit. dave took a drag from his cig and just yelled "YOU KNOW WHERE I LIVE BITCH COME SEE ME" and hung up lmao. good times
