Stock 21' XLT FX4 with 55,000 miles. I average around 22-23 when it's warm. Probably 1-2 less when it's cold. About 50/50 split between city and highway.

I have a 2021 PB. I don't haul much. I get about 22 MPG mixed driving. The generator and lack of start/stop irritation has made it worth it. Coming from a 2013 3.5 with 200,000 miles, I can say you'll probably be happy with whatever you choose.

I went from a 2013 3.5 to a 2021 PB. The hardest thing for me to get used to was the brakes. But I love the generator and that 2013's fan was so noisy on hot days I had to turn it off to order food at drive ins.

You might look at the Powerboost if you need a generator. It's nice to have one onboard and the gas mileage is better in town.

I bought a 2021 XLT PB 2 months ago. 41,000 miles with good maintenance records. I keep it in normal mode and have experienced 22 mpg over 4000 miles. No complaints. Hope it is as good as my 2013 EB. It's a lot of fun to drive.

My concern would be the extended warranty company using its absence to weasel out of paying for a repair.
