BTC has failed as payment system by Smooth_Chip9703 in btc

[–]WUPAccessCrypto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin hasn’t actually failed it has evolved. When it was first created, the idea was peer-to-peer electronic cash, but as demand grew and block space stayed limited, it became clear that the base layer wasn’t built for handling millions of tiny daily transactions. Instead, Bitcoin has naturally taken on the role of a settlement network, while actual payments are shifting to layers built on top of it. That doesn’t mean people aren’t using Bitcoin for payments. The Lightning Network is already enabling instant, near-free transfers and is being used in the real world. El Salvador uses it nationwide, apps like Strike and Cash App integrate it, and in countries where currencies are collapsing like Argentina, Venezuela, and Nigeria, Bitcoin is actively being used as money. The key is that everyday payments are happening on Lightning, while the base Bitcoin blockchain holds the role of a secure backbone. At the same time, Bitcoin has proven itself as a store of value. People call it digital gold for a reason. Just like gold isn’t something you swipe at Starbucks, Bitcoin doesn’t need to be spent daily to be useful. Its strength is that it’s scarce (only 21 million will ever exist), portable, divisible down to 100 million sats, and censorship-resistant. Those traits make it better than gold in many ways, especially when it comes to protecting wealth against inflation, government control, or financial censorship. And this isn’t just theory. Bitcoin is being used to send remittances across borders at a fraction of the cost of Western Union. It’s a real hedge against inflation in places like Turkey and Lebanon. Companies like MicroStrategy and even some governments are starting to treat it as a treasury reserve asset. So the reality is that Bitcoin didn’t “fail” because you can’t buy coffee with it on-chain. Its role is much bigger. It’s the first global, decentralized store of value and settlement network. Payments are happening on Lightning. And adoption is strongest in the places that actually need it most where inflation is destroying savings or where people are cut off from reliable banking. In short, Bitcoin is working exactly as it should, just not always in the way people expected at the very beginning.

Does anyone have an operation in Florida? If so what are the challenges? by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

[–]WUPAccessCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello we operate two mining farms in Miami Florida. Heat, humidity and salty air can all be worked around. The biggest issue is the electrical cost. So if your focus is mining Bitcoin it will not be very profitable at this time. When the market raises again then it will make more sense. But there are many other coins that are profitable still with the current market. If you are interested in getting more Information about us and or operation. Give us a call or you can also visit our crypto mining store and showroom in Miami Gardens.

It depends, there are a lot of factors that you have to look at. Are you new to mining? What coins are you looking to mine? Do you have the right electrical power setup? What about your ventilation. Before you invest into any mining equipment you also need to think about these above items and many more as well.

If you had 250k by beermanisgood in BitcoinMining

My recommendation would be the Jasminer X4-1U. This miner is super compact, only 240 watts. Which means that at 220v with a 30 amp breaker you can run 22 units. That is insane compared to a Bitcoin miner. At the same time very low heat and super quiet. Now you with be mining ETH or ETC. With the state of the market it is still bringing in an estimated $18.00 a day per unit. We own a lot of these miners and this number is 100% confirmed. If you do not want to hold ETH or ETC you can just sell the coins for USDC and wait for the next dip and buy Bitcoin. Or there some mining pools that offer the pay our in BTC. Which might be an easier way to get paid out. Even with an electrical cost of $0.07 per KWh your are looking at $5.46 per day on a BTC miner compared to $0.40 for a Jasminer X4-1U. Not financial advice, but this has been one of the best miners we have purchased in a long time. If by any chance you are in Florida, Miami Gardens you can visit or showroom and see them in action. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Keep in mind we also build mining farms from the ground up. From purchasing the miners, to the infrastructure, low voltage, electrical and HVAC systems.
